Varity is reporting that actor Nick Frost is up for a role as a dwarf and will be the 7th and final one.

Variety reports the following:

And then there were seven: Nick Frost is in final negotiations to take the last remaining dwarf role in Universal’s “Snow White and the Huntsman,” Variety's Justin Kroll reports exclusively. Frost, most recently seen in the Universal laffer “Paul,” joins fellow dwarfs Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Graham and Ray Winstone..."

So what happened to Eddie Izzard? The Enchanting Beauty posted a report about how we use caution in reporting on who has been cast.  Variety is a well-known and trusted source in the entertainment world but has written a report regarding casting that is either in error or it needs to provide more clarification as to what happened to Eddie Izzard.

SWATH Producer Palak Patel tweeted on June 22nd that Eddie Izzard is a dwarf.

So how is Variety getting this so wrong? Hopefully Patel will clear this up for us soon.

Frost could be an additional dwarf bringing the total to eight or he could be playing a different character.  But whatever the case may be, we still need to know why Variety has omitted Eddie Izzard.

Keep checking back with us and hopefully we can obtain clarification regarding this report.
