FIRST MOVIE STILL RELEASED OF KRISTEN STEWART & NICHOLAS HOULT IN 'EQUALS'

Variety reports that Scott free Films released the first movie still of Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies) in the Drake Doremus film Equals

Both Stewart and Hoult are seen in a close sensual position which appears to be heading towards a kiss. Will they or won't they?

Equals is "love story is set in the future where emotions have been eradicated, but a disease can cause them to return." The film also stars Guy Pearce (Prometheus) and Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook).

Both Stewart and Hoult spoke about having feelings at the film's press conference in August.

“I’m definitely not afraid of ‘feels.’ My life revolves around it actually,” “Finding the balance between the head and the heart is important but I’ve always been very driven by the gut. Every thought or articulated emotion starts in shapes and colors and putting your finger on that is cool, but it’s not necessary.”

Hoult said, “That obviously would be the easy way out [living in an emotionless world], but no, I like to feel everything, take the highs and the lows.”

Equals is set to be released in 2015.

JOHNNY HARRIS SPEAKS OF FOND MEMORIES WORKING ON SWATH WITH KRISTEN STEWART - "SHE'S A 'MOVIE STAR"

Kristen Stewart has left a memorable impression on her SWATH co-star Johnny Harris who recently spoke highly of the young star during a red carpet interview at the 'Star Wars Rebel' London premiere.

When asked about Stewart, Harris said, "She's just a fine young lady." "She's a terrific actress."

Harris fondly recalls the rehearsals with Stewart along with the other dwarf actors which consisted of a group of great British actors well-known for their tough-guy roles.

"I always smile -- I remember the rehearsals, you know we would turn up...we're all quite big characters the guys playing the dwarves you know...Ray [Winstone] and Bob [Hoskins], Ian McShane and ah...Eddie (Marsan) and Toby [Jones] and Nick [Frost]...um she [Stewart] just came in immediately and...rolled her sleeves up and um stuck in with us."

Harris continued, "...and she was our leader."

Harris beamed further stating that Stewart was"a great actress...a movie star."  He calls Stewart one of the "biggest movie stars of her generation"  and a "huge ticket seller."

That's very high praise for Stewart coming from the BAFTA winning actor.

Harris states he is looking forward to seeing Stewart's film, Camp X-Ray, which is being screened at the London Film Festival.

Harris will be attending the festival for the world premiere of his film Monsters: Dark Continent

More information regarding the screenings for Monsters and Camp X-Ray can be found here and  here.  See Harris in action in the latest Monsters trailer here.

SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN WILL DEBUT ON FX THIS SUNDAY

Universal

Snow White and the Huntsman makes its way to the original FX channel this Sunday, September 28th at 7PM ET after having its original world broadcast debut on the expansion channel FXX.  Since some cable and dish subscriber companies have yet to carry the FXX channel, this will be the world broadcast for most viewers.

FX has been aggressively purchasing the commericial television rights to broadcast Hollywood's top films which cover the demographics of all its channels (FX targets adults 18-49, FXX targets adults 18-34 and FXM targets adults 25-54).

Kristen Stewart's 'Twilight Saga' (which had another marathon this weekend) was one of FX's first major purchases. Other purchases include Marvel film series (Thor, Iron Man, Spiderman etc..), Universal's Ted and Battleship, Prometheus, Madagascar 3 and Men in Black 3 to name a few.

There were several dramatic television ads created for the SWATH debut which rival any of the film trailers.

The ads include plenty of action featuring Stewart as Snow White with voice overs from Charlize Theron and the late Bob Hoskins which will bring tears to your eyes listening to him say his most memorable lines from the film including, "She is the one."

Although Universal has determined not to pursue the Snow White storyline moving the story to pre-Snow White in its upcoming prequel 'The Huntsman', fans can still appreciate this story as it was and as it should be.

Check out the ads in video below and don't forget to tune in this Sunday.

CHRIS HEMSWORTH DAZZLES IN NEW 'HEART OF THE SEA' POSTER & 'BLACKHAT' STILLS

Heart of the Sea

Ladies breathe....

A new movie poster and stills have been released of Chris Hemsworth in his upcoming films.

In the poster released for the Ron Howard-directed 'Heart of the Sea', Hemsworth looks breathtakingly seaworthy in a hot sort of way. If Howard wants to appeal to women, he's won. But don't let the hot pictures fool you. These films do not look like love stories but appear to have violence and appeal to the male audience.

'Heart of the Sea' based on Nathaniel Philbrick’s book about the true events that inspired Herman Melville’s “Moby Dick.” Hemsworth stars as the first mate of a crew that was stranded at sea for 90 days and resorted to cannibalism for survival after being stalked and attacked by a sperm whale, according to Indiewire.

'Blackhat' Director Michael Mann is well-known for his action films with lots of gunplay. Hemsworth is seen in action in both stills.

Cyber Chris Hemsworth

In 'Blackhat', Hemsworth plays a furloughed convict [black hacker of computers] who teams with Chinese and American partners to hunt a high-level cybercrime network from Chicago to Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Jakarta," according to Indiewire.

The 'Blackhat' is set to open January 2015 and 'Heart of the Sea' hits theaters March 2015.

A miracle of high ambition and low budget, Gareth Edwards’ 2010 debut Monsters redefined what was possible for both British sci-fi and indie cinema. Taking his cue from the first film’s subtle layering of human drama over jaw-dropping visual effects, first-time feature director Tom Green has expanded Edwards’ universe to the Middle East where, seven years after the events that first brought an alien infestation of squid-like creatures to the Earth, there are now quarantined Infected Zones, just as there once were in Mexico. As wars continue to break out in the region, American forces, led by jaded veteran Noah (Johnny Harris), find themselves vulnerable on two fronts – fighting these extra-terrestrial invaders while defending themselves from local insurgents in whose land they are seen, ironically, to also be invaders. Mixing social comment with spectacle, Monsters: Dark Continent is a rare sequel that respects its predecessor’s belief in the right combination of realism and wonder. ~~  Damon Wise
