It looks mighty cold on the set of the new 12-part television series Fortitude which stars SWATH's Johnny Harris. Fortitude is set to premiere Thursday, January 29 at 10pm ET on Pivot TV and also on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
Shot in Iceland which substitutes as the Arctic, Harris plays Ronnie Morgan, a miner with secrets, who moves to build a new life in a town. A show which has the tagline, "It's not only the cold that kills" doesn't too sound good for the future of the locals.
Led by Stanley Tucci (Hunger Games), Fortitude stars Michael Gambon (Harry Potter), Sofie Gråbøl (The Killing) and Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who).
Described as "Twin Peaks meets frozen tundra," Fortitude is set in a small close knit town which has had no violent crimes until a murder sets things in motion.
Fortitude will be shown on Pivot TV which is a relatively new television station launched August 1, 2013. Check here to see where it is being shown in your area.
To get familiar with the cast and story, take a look at a few behind-the-scenes videos including Harris describing his character below.

Alice Dellal, Karl Lagerfeld, Kristen Stewart and Vanessa Paradis
There may have been a Kardashian or two in the house, but Kristen Stewart stole the show.
Chanel announced Kristen Stewart along with British model Alice Dellal and French actress Vanessa Paradis will be the faces of the new Chanel Spring-Fall handbag ad campaign. All three ladies are lauded to be the muses of Chanel's house of haute couture artistic director and legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
This will be Stewart's second campaign for the brand when she was the face of Largerfeld's Metier d'art Paris Dallas collection last year.
Stewart attended the Chanel show during the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on Tuesday with a front row view where she watched the latest creations of Lagerfeld.
Stewart has been on a holiday from acting since she finished filming 'Equals' with Nicholas Hoult in the fall. However, she has continued her promotional duties with several films being released this year beginning with 'Still Alice'.
In a recent interview with Yahoo Movies, Stewart said she loved the Marvel films and would be interested in doing one if the project was right for her.
Who knows what is next for Stewart, however anything is possible.
See photos of Stewart at the Chanel event below and more here.

(Fox): Liam Neeson on left and Sam Spruell on right in fight scene in Taken 3.
Sam Spruell's 'Finn' may have been "taken" out by Chris Hemsworth's 'Huntsman' in SWATH, but after the four-day Martin Luther King holiday weekend, Spruell clearly made up for it.
Spruell's 'Taken 3' crushed Hemsworth's 'Blackhat' at the box office.
'Taken 3' starring Liam Neeson, took in $14.625 million this weekend and $63.412 million overall after one week of release coming in 4th behind the surprising box office smash American Sniper, The Wedding Ringer and Paddington, according to Box Office Mojo.
'Blackhat' the action thriller starring Hemsworth, directed by Michael Mann and distributed by Universal did not receive positive headlines coming in 10th place with a paltry $3.838 million at the box office with a reported $70 million dollar production budget.
The public is not either interested in the hacker film or not believing Hemsworth as a hacker. If this was supposed to be a fluff piece for Hemsworth using his popularity to generate box office, it didn't work -- at least domestically.
However, there may be a bit of light at the end of the tunnel for 'Blackhat' when it opens more overseas particularly in Asian markets due to its diverse cast which includes Asian stars.
(See the full weekend box office here.)
Spruell handles his bad guy cred in this final installment with ease taking out a few people including one of the beloved characters.
Spruell's 'Oleg Malankov' is not 'Finn'. This guy has lots of sex appeal with hot tubs, women, tattoos and abs. Spruell in his tighty whities in a fight scene with Neeson is enough to make a girl blush.
'Taken 3' sees the return of the "ex-covert operative Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) and his ex-wife, Lenore (Famke Janssen), [who]are enjoying a reconciliation when Lenore is brutally murdered. Bryan is framed for the crime and flees, with the CIA, FBI and police all in hot pursuit. For the last time, he channels his rage and particular set of skills into hunting down Lenore's real killers, taking his revenge and protecting the one important thing left in his life: his daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace)." Check out both films in theaters today.
Kristen Stewart is one of the few in Hollywood who has as an eclectic resume consisting of successful blockbuster films to dramatic indies as a lead actress.
Although she has played a superhero type in her films she, like the rest of us, would like to actually be in a superhero film. One thing is for sure, Stewart has the chops to do it.

STEWART GETS LOVE & HEMSWORTH GETS ALL WET DURING A DAY OF PROMOTIONAL APPEARANCES FOR 'STILL ALICE' & 'BLACKHAT'
Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth had an eventful day Tuesday in New York as they made their respective rounds promoting separate films.
Stewart attended a press conference and two live online interviews with AOL and Huffington Post alongside potential Oscar nominee and co-star Julianne Moore promoting their film 'Still Alice'. Both ladies clearly enjoyed each others company while showing their enthusiasm and passion about the film.
(Zimbio): Stewart with Kate Bosworth at afterparty
Stewart ended the night attending The Cinema Society with Montblanc and Dom Perignon screening and afterparty of 'Still Alice' at the Landmark's Sunshine Cinema.
Hemsworth spent the day promoting his film 'Blackhat' at the Today Show, Live with Kelly and Michael and the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon with an earlier stop with director Michael Mann at Sirius XM radio.
To hear the entire interview, tune in this Thursday, January 15th to Entertainment Weekly Radio on Sirius XM channel 105 at 6pm ET. See more photos here.
The night ended in a splash when Hemsworth and Fallon participated in a funny and somewhat sexy water fight segment. Whomever pulled the higher playing card got to splash the other with a full glass of water with the loser getting dowsed with a water gun.
Hemsworth did not disappoint his female fans as he lost (not on purpose) and was drenched in water by Fallon while providing a little Chippendale-ish dance.
Check out the water fight below and the entire show with Hemsworth's interview here while available. Check out more photos here.
Take a look at videos and photos below and here of their day below.
'Still Alice' the small budget independent film and 'Blackhat' the large budget action drama directed by Michael Mann both open this Friday.
