Oh how funny is this? Fans have been clamoring for Kristen Stewart to make any kind of appearance at the Oscars tonight and low and behold we think The Academy has done it.

The Academy tweeted out this photo showing what the preparation was like around 9:55 this morning PST. However, you can't get by a Twilight or Kristen Stewart fan anything dealing with Twilight.

If you look over to the left-hand side, you will see a advertisement for the Hollywood Museum with a picture of who? Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as their Twilight characters "Edward and Bella".

So, Kristen will be there...in spirit at least.

Looks like we finally get to see which party Liberty Ross and director Rupert Sanders (with his Spencer Hart suit) went to during this Oscar® weekend. Ross tweeted this photo above showing that they were having plenty of fun along with actress Sophie Winkleman.

Both Ross and Sanders attended the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner Party last night and of course Ross walked the red carpet. See the photos gathered by @malenacasey below.

A new trailer for Lily Cole's 'The Moth Diaries'. According to IMDb, the story is about a girl named Rebecca (Sarah Bolger) who is suspicious of Ernessa (Lily Cole), the new arrival at her boarding school. But is Rebecca just jealous of Ernessa's bond with Lucie (Sarah Gadon), or does the new girl truly possess a dark secret?

2ND TRAILER DEETS - 'AVENGERS' CAST HAS SEEN A ROUGH CUT & LIKE IT EXCEPT FOR....

Screen Rant is reporting that the Marvel executives and the cast have viewed a rough cut of 'The Avengers' and like the film. It is not clear if Chris Hemsworth was one of those members. The one exception is that the Marvel executives do not think the film is "cinematic enough".

SR notes that fans of comic book films take issue with producing the films on a more cinematic level sacrificing the story. Director Josh Wheldon is said to have maintained the story.

It appears there is more editing to do to fit the "epic, blockbuster, big-screen" qualities the studio wants to see.

In the meantime, SR provides a peak into what to expect in the next trailer. WARNING: SPOILER ALERT!

We really love all the artists' renditions of SWATH but this has to be the one that takes our hearts so far. How awesome is this drawing by a young fan who is only 10-years old?

MEET A SWATH

HORSE STUNTING TEAM

Karl Greenwood, from the Stampede Stunt Company, on his horse Todo

Meet the Stampede Stunt Company. The Stampede Stunt Company is a horse stunting team that provides a "variety of performances and characters to suit all themes, budgets and grounds; from Cossack trick shows to medieval jousting tournaments."

They provide stunt training and classes and also offer "dirt buggy racing, off-road driving amphibious vehicles and Canadian canoeing."

But they also work on film and television shows. The Stampede Stunt Company has worked on Dr. Who, Clash of the Titans 2 and SWATH. Wonder if this is them doing this stunt in the trailer?

Their training Centre for Horseback Combat and Stampede Stunts is in the process of moving locations to expand their facilities.

SPENCER HART FITS RUPERT SANDERS & HOLLYWOOD'S FINEST FOR THE OSCARS®

London-based men's wear designer, Spencer Hart, is fitting some of Hollywood's finest for the Academy Awards red carpet this Sunday. According to their blog, he has been set up at the Chateau Marmont in LA this week for fittings.

SWATH Director Ruper Sanders was just fitted the other day and fans will hopefully be able to see their handy work on the red carpet.

Is the London Evening Standard anointing Sam Claflin's fellow White Heat cast members the next 'Brat Pack'?

Well...not really. But it is truly an impressive group. SWATH's Sam Claflin stars in a new British television show called White Heat. LES describes it as:

"...an intimate yet epic BBC Two thriller from writer Paula Milne, of The Politician's Wife and Small Island fame. Milne dripped her own life into the ambitious script, which follows the lives of seven friends from 1965 to the present, starting out as flat-share students in London and ending sprawled in the wreckage of love, loss, drugs and politics 40 years later.

"Claflin plays prime mover Jack, the rebel with a cause who just happens to be rich enough to own a large house in Tufnell Park, which he lets out to new students he finds interesting."

As gorgeous as she is, unfortunately, Charlize Theron has "not" been making a big splash on the Oscar® red carpet over the years. She has made a couple "Worst Dressed" lists on the night where fashion is [king] "queen".

Everyone has an Oscar® special now and days...Barbara Walters, Oprah Winfrey, Jimmy Kimmel etc... so as the Academy Awards® approach this weekend, we are going to take a look at the SWATH family's connections to the Oscars® throughout the weekend.

In addition, we are so siked that SWATH director Rupert Sanders and [Snow White's Mother] Liberty Ross will be appearing at the event and hopefully walk the red carpet at this Sunday, we cannot contain our giddiness.

Up first is SWATH's "Evil Queen" Charlize Theron.

Charlize won her Academy Award® in 2004 for Best Actress for her performance as real-life killer "Aileen Wuornos" in Monster.

Take a look back at her speech given that night in the video below. Her Oscar® was presented by Adrien Brody who jokes about kissing the winner. Adrien had a field day kissing Oscar® winner Halle Berry when he presented her award previously. It is a funny moment as you will see that Charlize did enjoy.

Get a hankie because when she thanks her mother, you may need it.

Here is another extra cast member. Meet Julian Seagar "The Woodsman" in SWATH.

According to Julian's site, he has worked on 'World War Z' with the one and only Brad Pitt. Julian played a "Russian zombie killer". How cool is that?! He has also worked with Daniel Craig in 'Skyfall'. He just received confirmation that he "has a 'supporting artiste' role in "Henry IV" with Jeremy Irons."

Our very own @malenacasey was on a roll today. First the Empire Magazine scan now this...

She tweeted that SWATH director Rupert Sanders has picked up his outfit for the upcoming Academy Awards!! She also reminded us of a tweet from his wife and "Snow White's mother," Liberty Ross, that she would be heading to an award show or two. Who knew it would be the Oscars?!

Well this is exciting for SWATH to be receiving a high profile appearance this soon. We cannot wait to see Liberty Ross's tweets of her getting ready for the red carpet along with Rupert.

Charlize Theron attended the V-Day Cocktails and Conversation with Eve Ensler even yesterday in West Hollywood.

Eve Ensler is a Tony Award winning playwright and performer of the Vagina Monologues. Ensler formed V-Day to combat violence against women and girls. Read a brief synopsis of V-Day below.

Teen Vogue interviews Kristen Stewart about SWATH. She touches on themes seen in previous interviews. Here are a few highlights:

Is there something you really admire about Snow White?

Yes. It's strange playing a character that you could never truly embody. I can't have Snow White's effect on people. I can't actually be completely selfless because nobody is. You can only really play a character like that in a fairytale and play it with an awful lot of integrity.

She's a very fully formed but "very farfetched from the reality that we live in" type of person. She also is strong in a very different way than you'd expect.

I mean, like she's strong. She can kick ass. But you're not watching going, "Yeah! Kill him!"Really, it's more like you're watching someone having to do something that doesn't just go against your sensibilities or that you agree with. It's gutting.

Do you like that she's not like your prissy fairytale?

She is prissy sometimes. It takes her the whole movie to become who I'm talking about now. It's a total identity movie, all about not finding yourself, but actually just being okay with who you know you always have been. It's an enormous burden and she's so stunted. She was put away when she was seven years old and her mother and father were killed basically right in front of her and we're not doing the version of a fairytale where you just sort of skim over those things.

She literally bleeds for her land and her people, and that's a cool concept for me because it's other people caring about people. Every day you see people not caring about each other, and this is just about that.

Does she learn to be a leader or is she born a leader inside?

'ON THE ROAD' ALONG WITH PATTINSON'S 'COSMOPOLIS' MAY SHOW AT CANNES

Anything is possible, but to have a chance to have two of your films shown at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival is remarkable.

This is a probability for Kristen Stewart as it was already reported that her film On the Road could be shown. The Playlist is noting OTR as a "Strong Contender" to be seen. The Playlist is also reporting that SWATH could be shown there too.

As award season continues, more nominations are still coming in and this time it is the Kids' Choice Awards both in the U.S. and UK.

Kristen Stewart is up for Favorite Actress for her role in 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1'. Also, the 'Twilight Series' is nominated for Favorite Book. Stewart's two Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are also nominated for various awards.

SWATH EXTRA FOUGHT IN EVERY ARMY

Model/Actor and a SWATH extra Ryan Scott appears to have fought in every army SWATH had as a soldier.

According to his profile, he is listed as being a member of the "Special Action Team". We would say so especially fighting in all the armies. Ryan is noted to have appeared in the recent Captain America film.

Legendary tough guy, BAFTA nominated actor Ray Winstone is celebrating his 55th birthday today.

Winstone is known for his edgy and tough guy roles in films such as The Departed, Edge of Darkness, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, London Boulevard, Great Expectations and will be seen soon in The Sweeney.

Winstone has also delved into animated films by voicing characters recently in, Hugo and Rango.

Fans will see Winstone play the dwarf Gort in SWATH on June 1st. We are pretty sure this dwarf will be pretty tough too.

SWATH'S JAMIE BLACKLEY SCORES LEAD ROLE IN '300' SEQUEL AS 'LONDON BOULEVARD' GETS

BLU-RAY RELEASE!

SWATH's Jamie Blackley has scored big in his next role in the "unnamed" sequel to "300". Blackley will have a leading co-starring role alongside Sullivan Stapleton. The film will be directed by Noam Murro.

According to Deadline, Blackley will play "Calisto, a teen whose desire to become the heroic man/soldier his father was leads the 16-year-old to become a leader of a small band of soldiers."

Blackley is on a good roll not only scoring a part in SWATH where he plays "Iain", according to IMDb, but he just finished playing the lead role in "uwantme2killhim?" and London Boulevard is being released on Blu-ray on February 21st where he plays one of the leads.

MIRROR, MIRROR'S NATHAN LANE DISSES SWATH

Nathan Lane was next up to take a shot at dissing SWATH. First it was 'Mirror, Mirror' director Tarsem Singh, now it's the legendary Broadway and film actor Nathan Lane.

Hollywood Life reports that Nathan Lane appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' to promote his version of Snow White. He went straight for the jugular and attacked SWATH saying, "[Mirror Mirror] is a lot of fun, and we have the secret weapon that is Julia Roberts."

We don't know if he realized that SWATH has an Oscar winning queen too...but yet again, maybe he doesn't. Someone should really tell him. But he didn't stop there...

"If you see one Snow White movie this year, this is the one…that comes out first."

You know it's funny, Charlize, Kristen, Chris, Nick, Toby and a few other SWATH actors have been around the world promoting various projects and you never read one disparaging word coming from them about "Mirror, Mirror". Not one.

Now we don't know if this is contractual or not, but he went there and SWATH's actors haven't...yet.

Even Sam was not even considered for the roll of their "Prince" because they already had one in mind. Just disses all over the place.

Kristen (BAFTA winner)...Lily, Chris (BAFTA nominee)...uh who is their Huntsman?, Charlize (Oscar winner)....Julia (Oscar winner)...

Ian McShane, Bob Hoskins, Ray Winstone, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Nick Frost, Johnny Harris and Brian Gleeson...those are SWATH's dwarfs.

Oscar, BAFTA and other award winning and nominated actors make up this cast.

JOHNNY HARRIS: TOUGH GUY - HAS A SOFT SIDE FOR THE SOCIAL MEDIA AND FANS

Former amateur champion boxer and award winning actor Johnny Harris has had his share of tough guy roles (This is England), and now he's taking his toughness and applying it to being a "badass dwarf" in Snow White and the Huntsman, according to Goji Collective. Harris will be starring as "Quert" the dwarf in SWATH.

Goji recently interviewed Harris (Read full interview here) where he discusses his career and SWATH. One interesting tid bit Harris talks about is his "rapport" with the fans through social networking.

Years ago, if fans wanted to possibly hear from their favorite actor, singer etc... you had to write to an address that was supposed to be to a publicist or to a fan club and hopefully, the autographed photo or letter you received actually came from the star him or herself.

Unfortunately, it has been noted years later that publicists and Lord knows who else, were penning those autographed photos you thought were signed by the star. Now fans can actually talk to the stars themselves through social media and sometimes receive immediate responses. It makes fans feel special to know that the star cares enough to respond back.

Any fan of Kristen Stewart knows she has no social media accounts, but when she said "hi" to fans through actor Peter Facinelli's (@peterfacinelli) Twitter account along with Robert Pattinson, it was as if she spoke to you personally. It meant to world to Twilight fans even though it was through someone else's account.

But there are plenty of stars who have their own accounts. Yes, it can be risky because there is always some knucklehead who wants to spoil it for others. However, stars can see that there is more good than bad and having an account could be a positive experience.

Twitter is the most immediate and intimate of the social networks because it allows fans and stars to reach out and give praises, opinions etc... directly to each other. It also helps the stars gauge their audiences likes and dislikes.

Harris talks about how he uses his Twitter account to reach his fans. Goji writes:

Perhaps it’s Johnny’s willingness to build a rapport between himself and his audience that helps in creating characters that really get under the viewer’s skin. During his days working in fringe theatre, Johnny’s keenness to hear what his audience thought of his performance prompted him to hide in the gents' toilets for hours at a time. “I was advised by an older actor that if I wanted a true reaction to the play and performance I should go hide in the theatre toilet cubicle and listen to the audience immediately after the play,” he laughs. “So I'd dash around to the loo straight after the curtain call and get myself comfy. It wasn't always easy listening, but I learned a lot.”

Today, Johnny continues to gauge his audience’s response and appreciates the value of social media. He enjoys a strong following on Twitter, which allowed him to receive an immediate response when The Fades recently premièred on BBC America. “The beauty of social media is that you can see the public response as it happens now,” he says. “[It's] an immediate reaction directly from the viewing public, which is an interesting alternative to a journalist's opinion.”

For Johnny, the word on the street can be as valuable as that of any seasoned critic. “I follow a few good journalists that I like,” he says. “There's a lot to be said for editorial journalism, but it was lovely to see the immediate reaction of the public for both This Is England '86 and '88, and The Fades, because they really seemed to be pulled in by the stories and characters.”

With a huge soon-to-be blockbuster coming out, we are pretty sure Harris will be hearing from plenty of fans real soon.

STEWART: SNOW WHITE'S PUFFY SLEEVES ARE BUTCH

Chest thumping & butch sleeves? This definitely isn't Disney's Snow White. No, she will not be singing and skipping through the forest with puffy sleeves in tow. This Snow White, will not be "soft". In an interview with Teen.com, Kristen Stewart provides insight that her Snow White will be as tough as they come.

Teen.com: First things first — what do you love most about playing Snow White?

Kristen Stewart: It’s strange playing a character that you actually could never truly embody. I can’t have Snow White’s affect on people. I can’t actually be completely selfless because nobody is. You can only really play a character like that in a fairytale and play it with an awful load of integrity and not have it just be like a fake character in a movie with other people that do seem real. She’s a very fully formed but very farfetched from the reality that we live in type of person. She also is strong in a very different way than you’d expect like bullying a person in an action-type adventure movie.

Teen.com: Is Snow White anything like Bella Swan? Sorry, just had to ask this one…

Kristen: No, totally! Bella and Snow White are slightly… they both come to find that they’re leaders. That’s definitely a similarity. They’re different. They’re very, very, very different people. Both of them are sort of a little more intuitive and spiritually, for whatever reason, connected, and their gut is always sort of dead right.

Teen.com: Is Snow White prissier than Bella?

Kristen: She is prissy sometimes. But she’s strong. She can kick ass. That’s the other thing. It takes her the whole movie basically to become who I’m talking about now. It’s a total identity movie. It’s all about not finding yourself, but actually just being okay with who you know you always have been and not being ashamed of being the only one who sees the light.

Teen.com. Let’s talk about the costumes. How freakin’ cool was it to wear that armor?

Kristen: That’s the first thing you wanna do is, “ahhh!” Editor’s note: She hit her chest here and screamed like Tarzan. It was great.) And [the dress underneath] is so wearable. I also have puffy sleeves. Somehow she manages to make puffy sleeves look butch.

Teen.com: In Snow White and in New Moon, you’re brought out to the woods to get bad news. Is it worse to find out you’re going to die or to get dumped?

Kristen: I think it’s totally impossible to compare the two. Because leading out to and being broken up with thing, especially in that context, was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to play and I’m not even…I built that moment up in my head. Not that I’m talking about Twilight now. But um…you can’t compare them. And I know that doesn’t make sense, but I kind of can’t compare.

Teen.com: We’re so jealous you got to work with Chris. What’s he like?

Kristen: Before I met him, I was like, “Gosh, so charming.” You know what I mean? Like, he’s so ridiculously, seemingly nice. Movie-star caliber nice. But he really actually just is. Really kind of just like quasi-boy. He’s really relaxed whereas I’m always like “Oh my God!” I use my anxiety to do this. He’s a good energy for me. I really like working with him.

Teen.com: Did you have a favorite fairy-tale as a kid?

Kristen: I knew you were gonna say that!

Teen.com: We’re asking everyone! Sorry!

Kristen: I honestly don’t…somebody asked this the other day. I wasn’t here till the end of fairytales. But I really liked the Jungle Book. I was obsessed.

Teen.com continues it interview series with the SWATH cast and crew from their October visit last year. Today, they present their interview with Chris Hemsworth. We are sure that some female fans want to know if he goes shirtless. Well, read and see in these excerpts below...

Teen.com: You and Kristen were hanging upside down for so long! What were you talking about while you were up there?

Chris: “Get us down! Get us down! What are we doing?” Honestly, it’s using every bit of energy to kind of hold yourself in a certain position so your arm doesn’t tear off, ’cause you’ve got a harness hooked up at your shoulders and then your ankles, and it’s all different.

Teen.com: Was it fun? Or not so much?

Chris: Not that much fun at all, actually. It’s a head rush. It’s like going on a roller coaster a hundred times upside down. It’s like that sick feeling coming off. It looks good though, hopefully, so…

Editor’s note: It did look good. And so did he. Wink wink.

Teen.com: Ok, we need to get to the bottom of this. Is there a love triangle happening between you, Kristen and Sam’s characters?

Chris: It’s not so much a love triangle. It’s kind of what the individual characters feel for each other. I think they are kind of unaware of whether anyone else is involved within that mix. It’s not quite as public or as open I guess as a love triangle. It’s sort of obvious.

Teen.com: Your character seems to be very macho. Did you like doing all those fight scenes?

Chris: It’s been great. Just “epic” is the only way to sort of describe them. We have like a hundred horses in the feature on one side, and 30 or 40 horses within the castle they’ve built, a hundred extras in full armor fighting and things on fire.

Teen.com: Ok, now for a serious question — will you be wearing this costume the whole time, or will there be shirtless scenes (pretty please)?

Chris: No, there’s not. There was enough skin in Thor! I sort of stay covered up in this one.

Teen.com: Ok, let’s talk about Kristen Stewart. What’d you know about her before meeting her?

Sam: I knew of her. Everyone in the world does. But no. I knew of her and I’m a big fan of everything she’s involved with up until now. The first time I met her we kind of had a talk. We realized we have a lot of things in common. We like the same sort of music. We have a few friends in common. Yeah, small world. It’s such a small world.

Teen.com: Since Snow White is Disney…are you guys going to break out into song in the middle of the movie?

Sam: Ha. I can just imagine me on the back of my horse with a shield in one hand and a sword in the other. No, there’s a bit of music, not for me personally, but I don’t think it’s the sort of story that sort of asks for many songs, thankfully.

You’re rocking the leather pants today…

Sam: I know. I know. They’re very comfortable, very bizarrely. I sort of feel very at home, not that I own anything like this in my own wardrobe, but I wouldn’t mind.

Teen.com: What’s Kristen’s costume like? Very princessy?

Sam: She tends to sort of not be in any princess-like costumes, which is good for her and kind of gives her that badass sort of fighting spirit, I suppose, but she looks pretty damned awesome. Thumbs up.

Teen.com: Have you gotten any injuries on set?

Sam: No. I think I sort of tripped over a stair, which is my own fault. I can’t blame injury on that. But the other day I think Take 1 of riding a horse on to a certain scene, I fell off. I think the thought of me trying to get up again was quite difficult, so I was just laying there kind of going, “Oh-h-h.” But I remember Kristen just trying to winch me back up on to my feet, and I thought, “I’m not moving. I can’t move. I’m just going to stay here. I’m happier.”

Teen.com: Ha, sounds amazing. We heard you auditioned for the other Snow White movie. Why’d you want this one?

Sam: I think Armie Hammer was always their number one choice. But I kind of saw more similarities in their prince and the part I played in Pirates, whereas (with this) I thought I wanted to pick up a sword and I wanted to do a bit of fighting and get a bit grittier, and hopefully sort of open a few more doors for me.

Not only is it your first big movie role apart from the same role you've played in four installments of one of the most beloved (by most teen girls, anyway) film franchises in history, but you're playing a well-known fairytale character who is known to sing songs with woodland creatures and charm everyone she meets. And then there's the added pressure of another Hollywood actress giving the same role a try a few months before your version hits theaters. Yep, if you were Kristen Stewart, you might even feel like you have something to prove.

But you're not Kristen Stewart. Because Kristen Stewart is effing awesome and we're standing three feet away from her in her trailer, along with a handful of other outlets, back in October somewhere outside of London on the set of Snow White And The Huntsman listening to her talk about the amazing character she's created for the movie.

"It's strange playing a character that you actually could never truly embody," she said. "Her spirit affects people in such a way that -- you know, I mean luckily our script is written that way, but I can't have Snow White's effect on people. I can't actually be completely selfless because nobody is and it would be strange to claim that. You can only really play a character like that in a fairytale and play it with an awful load of integrity and not have it just be like a fake character in a movie with other people that do seem real. She's very fully-formed but very farfetched-from-the-reality-that-we-live-in type of person. Everyone always thinks I just want to play strong characters, but she also is strong in a very different way that you'd expect the leading person in an action-type adventure movie to be."

Well said, Kristen. Tell us more.

"Strength [of character], yeah, but also gusto," she said. "I mean, like she's strong. She can kick ass. It hurts very much to do so and so it's not like you're watching her go take down a kingdom. You're not watching going, 'Yeah! Kill him!' Really, it's more like you're watching someone having to do something that doesn't just go against your sensibilities or something that you agree with. It's not real. It's gutting. It's physically gutting, literally."

Finally, we have some insights from Academy Award winning costume designer Collen Atwood. TeenHollywood.com gives a delightful account of their meeting during their set visit. Here are a few highlight. Read the rest of their interview here:

TeenHollywood: How many looks does each character have in the movie?

Colleen: Charlize has about 15 different variations and Kristen has about five or six but variations within that. Chris [Hemsworth] has basically three looks but it’s all good [we agree and laugh]. He has leather pants which he wears rather well.

Sam Claflin has two or three. The guys have less but more stages. By the end we will have made about 2,000 costumes for the movie by the time we’re done with all the extras.

We’re guided to Kristen’s costume trailer; We’re surrounded by blues, greens and browns. Some costumes have the puffy, classic Snow White sleeves but with a chain mail skirt.

Colleen tells us that some of the textiles and textures of the fabric would translate into our era and “look cool with jeans”. We look at pretty leather colors, some with fake fur. We see Kristen’s jacket, sword belt and leather pants and part of her armor. This is her flexible stunt armor. She has a couple of other girlie dresses too and a coronation dress.
“This is Snow White’s under armor jacket but it’s a cute little piece”, Colleen shares. “Kristen said ‘Oh, I’d wear that!’ This is another dress that Kristen wears at the end. It’s really a simple little dress, very peasant and appropriate for the scene. Nothing like these. That’s for sure. This is a work in progress”. Colleen shows us a crazy beetle wing sleeve.

“The final dress is a chainmail and leather dress that Kristen wears. This is a robe that has been hand embroidered for Charlize. She has a great presence as an actor. You put a costume like that on somebody who really knows how to wear it and it becomes really strong and kind of special”.

TeenHollywood: Does Kristen also make a transformation when she puts these costumes on?

Colleen: Yes, for sure. But it’s a softer version than when Charlize puts hers on, Especially the armor. We’re working on Sam Claflin’s shoes that he’s going to wear with his armor and spiffing those up a little.

TeenHollywood: The look of Snow White is so iconic (i.e. the Disney puffy sleeves). Was that a reference or are you avoiding that?

Colleen: The only thing is the puffed sleeve is sort of reflected in Kristin’s costume but that’s about it. She’s a totally different kind of character. Less “princessy” and more a bad a** kind of girl and hers is leather and has clamps and different kind of stitching on it.

TeenHollywood: Was it that way with Kristen?

Colleen: Yeah but she really didn’t say anything. I showed her the stuff and she was really into it. She loved the armor and the other bits that she has. She’s not really that obsessed with clothes at this point in her career. She’s young and free from that sort of obsession. In her work previous, she hasn’t worn those kinds of presentational costumes so it’s kind of new for her. She’s still having fun with it I think.

TeenHollywood: What is the armor made out of so it isn’t really heavy?

Colleen: The armor is made out of urethane materials then plated with metal so they look like metal, as in Snow White’s armor.

TeenHollywood: Charlize looks so regal in the film, yet very fantasy-like.

Colleen: Charlize transfers between human and animal thing. It’s going to get shredded away. Two costumes will be nice and two destroyed. This is her wedding dress. This is made with leather and fabric I found in France and it has a beautiful big skirt that goes with it. It has a skeletal collar that goes on it and it’s detachable.

TeenHollywood: Do you make a lot of copies of the same costume?

Colleen: In this case I have six of everything because they go through a lot of climate changes in the story so I have different stages of breakdown and then we have real dwarves and larger people so we have a costume scaled down and also regular size.

TeenHollywood: What were the challenges in costuming Alice in Wonderland and this one?

Colleen: There are similar challenges. The visual effects challenges are really different because, in this one, we had to make people that were two different sizes the same scale whereas in “Alice”, we played with body parts scaling up such as the queen’s head. So similar challenges but different with the visual effects side of it. They are both creating fantasy worlds based in different tales although Grimm and Louis Caroll are pretty different.

We pass by some really gorgeous long dresses.

Colleen: I have a coronation scene there will be 200 people dressed to the nines and that’s the idea of what they’ll be wearing. The dress behind it is for the actress in a flashback scene. It’s more peasanty. I have a lot of that shape in the movie too.

SET VISIT ACCOUNT FROM TEEN.COM: NEW MOVIE STILL WITH SAM CLAFLIN & BTS WITH CHRIS HEMSWORTH

Google alerts are jumping off with a rash of media interviews with the SWATH cast today as it appears that a media blackout has apparently been lifted for the set visits back in October of last year.

Teen.com will be revealing more interviews, photos and info from the set visit during the week. Their tease regarding their visit with the costume department is fun as well as their other teasers regarding their interviews with the cast. In the meantime, here is a brief account of their visit with Kristen Stewart.

"Now you’re prob all like, “wait, why did you talk to Chris and not Kristen?” Well, dear readers, that is because we wanted more time with Kristen. MORE TIME WITH KRISTEN! So by now it’s like, end of day and Kristen had to go change out of her Snow White outfit into her usual converse, jeans, hoodie ensemb. So we’re all standing around her in the middle of the parking lot asking Kristen questions, but she felt weird and “put on the spot” so she invites us into her trailer to do the interview. Well, don’t mind if I do…

And then, it was back on the bus as we drove to a more, um, civilized location – the infamous Pinewood Studios (like Universal Studios, but way more British). Our first stop was a tour of the costume closet – um, more like factory – with the movie’s costume designer Colleen Atwood. Just imagine the coolest fashion closet at your favorite magazine, but 8,000 times bigger and from 8 centuries earlier. You envision it? Ok. So we got to see everything in there from the tons of dresses Kristen would wear (there’s at least a dozen of each outfit, FYI), to the factory where Colleen’s peeps made 2,000+ costumes for all the extras. Wowza.

Oh, and my personal fave part was a tour of the room where seamstresses were sewing away on the gorgeous, intricate gowns that Charlize Theron, aka the Queen wore. Just wait till you see those babies and hear what Colleen had to say about all the handiwork that went into ‘em.

I was secretly hoping Robert Pattinson was hiding in the closet there or something, but nah. Regardless, though, I got a front row seat next to Kristen, mostly so I could stare at how gorgeous she is and, ya know, get my questions in, of course. You’ll have to wait for that interview too (sorry!), but I’ll leave you with this – Kstew is cooler in person than I thought. She’s awkward and sorta quiet and smokes like a chimney, but she rocks. I even left the trailer telling her The Runaways was my fave of her movies (cause it really is), and she said, “Thank you so much! That’s so awesome.” I think she was just happy I didn’t say Eclipse."

SAM CLAFLIN REVEALS MUSICAL CONNECTION TO KRISTEN STEWART

Sam Claflin revealed a musical connection with Kristen Stewart to PopSugar during their set visit by the media last October. Sam stated that singer Marcus Foster performed at a birthday party of his and has also previously seen him perform. Kristen appeared in Foster's video last year (seen on our site below) for his song 'I Was Broken'.

Kristen met Foster through Robert Pattinson who is his childhood friend. Here is what Sam told PopSugar:

"There is a guy called Marcus Foster. Basically a guy played at my birthday, this sort of big musician who I love, and I went to go and see him at another gig, and supporting him was Marcus Foster. So, I went backstage and to meet Marcus, and he was telling me about this music video that he's about to do that Kristen [Stewart] has just starred in. Then when I saw Kristen next, I said, 'I can't believe you did that. You know him and he knows you, and he knows Rob [Pattinson].' So, again, it's all this small world. So namely him, but I think -- I have a feeling our sort of music tastes are very much in tune."

FAN ACCOUNT OF SET VISIT FINALLY REVEALED

We have been waiting for this for a while but we finally get the account of the set visit won by SWATH fan Lynsey Jacob through MTV's Hollywood Crush. Lynsey had the opportunity to meet Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin.

Here is a snippet of her account with Kristen Stewart's bodyguard a.k.a. "Hot Bodyguard":

Chris was rehearsing an action scene with the second unit director when we arrived and came by our little group afterwards to talk with us a bit. We spoke about the typical things that I was asked about throughout the day—where I’m from (“You sound American,” he said), how did I win the contest, etc. Such a nice guy. Before we left, we took a picture with Chris and then were on our way to grab lunch.

Going back to the set where Kristen and Sam were filming was a bit nerve wracking. It was as we entered the stage area that I finally got to introduce myself to HBG.

Here’s how that went:
Me: Hi, I’m Lynsey. I’m one of the girls from your Facebook page. [Shakes his hand]
HBG: Hi. [Something registers in his eyes...he knows!]

Moments later…
Me: Did you go to the University of Kentucky? [Pointing at his UK hat]
HBG: No, I just like the hat. [Eyeing me curiously] Don’t go investigating me!
Me: Oh, no! I was just wondering. [Eyes wide as saucers. Probably blushing.]

A few moments later still…
HBG: [To me] So how did this all come about?
Me: The Facebook page?
HBG: No, the contest. [Grinning at me like I’m crazy]
Me: Oh! [There goes that blushing thing again]

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY REVEALS SWATH BOOK COVER

On January 12th we revealed that there will be a Snow White and the Huntsman book that will be a story companion of the film. Now the cover has been revealed by Entertainmen Weekly.

It shows that a poster will be included this novelization of the film's story. Fans can pre-order the book here on Amazon (US), here at Barnes & Nobel and here for Amazon (UK) . The book will be released on April 17th. SWATH opens in theaters on June 1st.

The time is arriving when SWATH fans will beging to get interviews that were obtained during the press visits last year.

Here is one sent out by BuzzSugar of their interview with Kristen Stewart on the set right after the famous punch to the face of the Huntsman, Chris Hemsworth.

It provides wonderful insights into her character, her relationship with Hemsworth, costumes etc... Also, the revealed a new behind-the-scenes photo from Universal seen above.

Is there something you admire about Snow White?

Yes. It’s strange playing a character that you actually could never truly embody. Her spirit affects people. . . I can’t have Snow White’s affect on people. Do you like that she’s not like your prissy fairy tale?

Yeah, because that’s just a very surface, though she is prissy sometimes. That’s the other thing. It takes her the whole movie basically to become who I’m talking about now. I’m really sort of talking in retrospect. It’s strange. It’s a total identity movie. It’s all about not finding yourself, but actually just being OK with who you always have been and not being ashamed of being the only one who sees the light. It’s an enormous burden and she’s so stunted. She was put away when she was 7 years old and your mother and your father were killed basically right in front of you. We’re not doing the version of a fairy tale that wouldn’t deal with all of those things, where you just sort of skim over all those thing, and its like all of these things are actually really important to the characters. She literally bleeds for her land and her people, and that’s just such a cool concept for me because it’s other people caring about people. It’s very simple, but it’s so common. Every day all the time you see people not caring about each other, and this is just about that.

She learns to be a leader or she’s born a leader inside, do you think?

She’s definitely a born leader. I mean, it’s literally pumping through those veins, but it’s been taken from her. She’s been so stolen from.

Is it helping you get into the character's mindset to wear those cool costumes?

Absolutely. If you look down and something doesn’t feel like you would definitely be wearing it, or if you go to grab your knife and it flops around or — basically [Colleen Atwood] thinks about every detail. It’s so wearable. I also have puffy sleeves. Somehow she manages to make puffy sleeves look butch. I was always expecting to personally wind up in a — basically what I’m wearing underneath it, like that little blue dress, which is just thin and wispy. I was really happy that she’s got something heavy on — a bit of armor before she actually finds her own armor.

How did you feel the first time you put on the armor? Did you feel more badass?

Yeah. That’s the first thing you want to [pound your chest]. Also, my armor doesn’t have a huge top on it. All the guys, unfortunately, they [raise their arms] and they hit themselves in the head. I can run around in mine. Somehow the armor on the men — unless they’re on horseback and they look amazing, but there’s also something kind of dainty about it, too, like pointy toes. It fits a woman’s body better, I feel. I don’t know, the guys running around suddenly look like little toys — slightly feminine little toys.

Both Snow White and Bella had traumatizing experiences in the woods — being led out to die or have her heart broken — compare those two experiences?

Well, it’s funny. I think [Snow White] genuinely lacks that innate fear of death that we all have. She’s got a serious, fierce survival — not skills, but insights. But she isn’t afraid of anything. What’s harder is to have dreams and hopes that you lived your whole life sort of be just shattered in front of you. So I think probably it’s totally impossible to compare the two. And I know that doesn’t make sense, but I kind of can’t compare.

Can you compare the movies in general? Are there similarities at all?

Bella and Snow White both come to find that they’re leaders. I mean, that’s definitely a similarity. They’re different. They’re very, very, very, different people. Also, I guess in a very sort of righteous way as well it’s all very like — everyone’s telling them “no” and both of them I guess see the light. Both of them are sort of a little more intuitive and spiritually, for whatever reason, connected and their gut is always sort of dead right.

What about working with Chris surprised you? Did you have any preconceptions of him?

Before I met him, I was like, "gosh, so charming." You know what I mean? Like he’s so ridiculously, seemingly nice. Movie-star caliber nice. But he really actually just is. But then again, it’s strange working — cause I mean it’s not a secret. It was completely different part before. It was totally like a rethought. So when he came in it was like "Wow! This is f*cking interesting!" I mean, it was like they really elevated it. Chris is an amazing, nice guy and also [has] great instincts and he can roll with everything on set. He’s really relaxed, whereas I’m always like, "oh my god!" I use my anxiety to do this and he’s always sort of like — he’s a good energy for me. I really like working with him.

You actually punched Chris filming a scene and gave him a black eye?

It’s actually a very confidence building experience. I don’t like punching anyone. So, you know, when you dream and your hand just slides right down their face, it doesn’t do that in real life. It really works. God, that really made me feel horrible, though. I mean, like instantly hot tears and I was like "oops!" We were watching it. It looks — it’ll be in the movie.

Favorite fairy tale as a kid?

I honestly don’t — somebody asked this the other day. I wasn’t here til the end of fairy tales. I really liked The Jungle Book. I was obsessed with The Jungle Book.
Chris said Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
He is obsessed with Lord of the Rings and he was always like humming Enya as we were trudging up the mountain. I was saying basically, "You should make a remake of Lord of the Rings. Why are you doing this? . . . We’re doing Snow White and the Huntsmen, Chris!"

CANNES MAY BE A STEWART

Although rumors were running rampant for months about Kristen Stewart coming on board her mother Jules Mann-Stewart's film K-11, who would have thought that they both could be on board with films being shown at the Cannes Film Festival this May.

Stockmarket Wire is reporting that K-11 may appear at Cannes. We previously reported that Kristen's On the Road will be ready to appear at the film festival as well. This would be a family affair if it holds true because Kristen's brother, Cameron, is in K-11 and could make it to Cannes as a member of the cast.

This is pretty exciting news for Kristen's fans if it pans out. Stay tuned.

MISS PIGGY VS THOR...WHO WON THE BATTLE OF INTIMIDATION?

Your agent approaches you and tells you have to do interviews on the prestigious BAFTA awards red carpet and when you arrive you see a puppet. You're 'Thor' and 'Eric the Huntsman', you're Captain Kirk's dad for goodness sakes, so what do you do?

You do the interview because it's just not any puppet, it's Miss Piggy - Queen Muppet! This is one individual you just do not refuse.

Who would have thought, Miss Piggy, a muppet, a quarter of his size, would get an interview but she did. Now we have to find out what she asked and what he told her..

But in the meantime we know what she wore during the interview. Why? Because it's a red carpet for goodness sakes. You just have to look good even a muppet.

The dress Miss Piggy will be wearing pays homage to French Women of the 50's wearing an iconic fifties-inspired silhouette dress with vintage spirit: full bust, slim waist, full long skirt for a romantic look, realised in an elegant powder shade of beige coloured silk tulle. The bustier is embellished on the waistline with a bow made out of thousands of silver sequins, part of 'Les Extraordinaires ' their Fall Winter 2010 Show.

Miss Piggy: "Moi on the Red Carpet at the BAFTAs wearing Louis Vuitton designed by my dear friend Marc Jacobs. We have a word for that in Hollywood: Va-va-va-voom."

Of course she would have one of the top designers in the world doing her dress. We thought of nothing less.

But did Miss Piggy try to hit on our Huntsman? We'll find out soon enough.

Yes, it was Gucci. Although Chris did not win the Orange Rising Star award, he looked mighty dapper in his Gucci suit and his Huntsman/Thor golden locks.

BAFTA MASTER POST: RESULTS, RED CARPET AND MORE

The British Academy of Film and Television held their film awards ceremony today in London handing out awards that could provide a precursor to the Oscars later this month.

A couple of SWATHERS made red carpet appearances. Chris Hemsworth who was a nominee for the Orange Rising Star and Nick Frost who was there to represent the film 'Tintin'. Unfortunately, Hemsworth lost out to British actor Adam Deacon. Read more about his filmography here.
