CONGRATS TO CHRIS HEMSWORTH FOR BEING 'PEOPLE'S SEXIEST MAN ALIVE 2014'

Well it took People Magazine long enough to figure out what we already knew that Chris Hemsworth was pretty sexy. But now it's official (I guess).

Chris was revealed as People's 'Sexiest Man Alive' for 2014.  Jimmy Kimmel revealed the honor on his show last night.

KRISTEN STEWART, JULIANNE MOORE & MARIA SHRIVER ATTEND AFIFEST EMOTIONAL SCREENING OF 'STILL ALICE'






Described as an emotional night, Kristen Stewart attended the screening of 'Still Alice' with Julianne Moore at the AFI Film Festival Wednesday evening in Los Angeles.

Stewart and Moore were joined by executive producer and former First Lady of California Maria Shriver along with directors Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland in an emotional Q & A.


'Still Alice' is "based on Lisa Genova's bestselling novel, "Alice" chronicles the heartbreaking progression of early on set Alzheimer's disease for Dr. Alice Howard (Julianne Moore), a 50-year-old accomplished Columbia University professor and mother of three grown children. While she struggles to not "lose herself" to the disease, her family (played by Alec Baldwin, Kristen Stewart, Hunter Parish and Kate Bosworth) all react to her condition in different ways." KRISTEN STEWART HELPS LAUNCH NEW 'TWILIGHT CONTEST'

MTV Twilight Tuesdays are back!

Lionsgate launched the new Twilight contest website, 'The Storytellers: New Voices of the Twilight Saga' with a video featuring Kristen Stewart via MTV today. 

MTV reports that Phase 1 has begun at the new contest website where fans can register and vote on which Twilight character they would like to see featured in the short films. 

The Storytellers contest was to provide an opportunity to have more voices of women in film to be heard from directing and writing to production. 

Author Stephenie Meyers along with Stewart will join an esteemed panel of judges including Academy Award winners Octavia Spencer and Kate Winslet, award-winning writer an co-director of Disney's Frozen Jennifer Lee, Emmy Award-winning actress Julie Bowen and Women In Film President Cathy Schulman to select the winners.

Fans will vote an choose their favorite film short which will hopefully be the beginning of new Twilight adventures.  

Registration and voting has begun. Click on the Character Voting link to get started. Fans can choose from the characters listed in The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide book.

Voting ends November 19, 2014 at noon.












SAM CLAFLIN CHARMS FANS AT THE UK 'HUNGER GAMES: MOCKING JAY PT 1' WORLD PREMIERE (Interviews/Videos/Photos)











The signature dimples were in full display as Sam Claflin walked the red carpet of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' at the UK World Premiere at Leicester Square in London. 

Claflin joined his fellow castmates Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci,  and more as they greeted the raucous fans.

In the final video, Claflin mentions the casting of Julianne Moore who is currently being mentioned as a strong contender for an Oscar nomination for her role in 'Still Alice' where she stars with Kristen Stewart.

KRISTEN STEWART JOINS OSCAR HOPEFULS AT THE AFI FEST INDIE CONTENDERS ROUNDTABLE

Kristen joined seven other potential Oscar nominees at the AFI Film Festival's Inaugural Indie Contender Roundtable hosted by The Hollywood Reporter's Scott Feinberg Sunday evening in Hollywood, California.

The Oscar hopefuls answered questions during a 90-minute session in front of a packed audience. 


The panel included Stewart, Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bill Hader, J.C. Chandor, Damien Chazelle, Marion Cotillard, Michelle Monaghan.


AFI tweeted a few answers from the panel including Stewart who answered a wide-range of questions: 



"You always want a huge launching pad 4 what u dumped your heart & soul's energy into" #KristenStewart on film fests 


"I'm not cool enough to fit in the indie scene. I'm the Twilight girl & that's it. But I think it's important to do both." #KristenStewart 


"My advice to my younger self would have been 'dude - calm down'" #KristenStewart #IndieContendersRoundtable #AFIFEST 



This is the beginning of the Oscar push by Sony for a hopeful Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role in 'Still Alice'. 

Fans are sure to be hearing more from Stewart in the weeks ahead including the promotion for the limited release of the film in December in New York and LA in order to get into contention for the upcoming awards season.
