Today the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announced their Orange Wednesday Rising Star finalist today and SWATHs Chris Hemsworth made the list. The finalist were wittled down from a longlist of nominees and determined by Orange customers only.
Final voting is open to the public and only to those in the UK. The winner will be announced at the Orange British Academy Film Awards on February 12, 2012. Fans can vote for Chris here. Vote and vote often.
The other nominees are: Adam Deacon, Tom Hiddleston (starred in 'Thor' with Hemsworth and will be in 'The Avengers as well), Chris O'Dowd and Eddie Redmayne.
CHRIS HEMSWORTH - Australian actor Chris became an overnight success after landing the title role in film version of the Marvel comic Thor and he will reprise the role in The Avengers next year. Chris is next starring in Snow White And The Huntsman opposite Kirsten Stewart and Charlize Theron and will play Formula One driver James Hunt in Ron Howard’s Rush.
