'AVENGERS' BLU RAY RELEASE DATE REVEALED
'The Avengers' starring Chris Hemsworth, will have its DVD released on September 25th with multiple features.
According to Geeks of Doom, "The Avengers will be released on 4-disc Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D/DVD/Digital Copy; 2-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo packs; and single disc DVD. The only extra features on the DVD will be an audio commentary by writer-director Joss Whedon (and if you’ve ever heard one of his commentaries you’ll find that a good reason to be excited) and the “Assembling the Ultimate Team” featurette.
"In addition to the aforementioned commentary and featurette, the Blu-ray disc will also include an additional “A Visual Journey” featurette, the Marvel One-Shot short film “Item 47,” an interactive Disney Second Screen feature, a gag reel, eight deleted and extended scenes including an alternate ending and the talked-about scene where the revived Captain America (Chris Evans) reunites with his sweetheart Peggy Carter (played by Hayley Atwell in last year’s Captain America: The First Avenger) almost seven decades after the last time they were together, and a music video for “Live to Rise” by Soundgarden."
