JOHNNY HARRIS' "THE FADES" UPSETS AT BAFTAS

It has been an eventful week for SWATH fans and a week of pride beginning with Kristen Stewart's appearance at the Cannes Film Festival now Johnny Harris representing at the television BAFTA awards. 

After an unceremonious cancellation followed by fan outrage, the Sci-fi thriller 'The Fades' starring SWATH's Johnny Harris, won by an upset taking the Drama Series award at the Arqiva British Academy Television Awards ceremony on Sunday.

Harris was unable to attend due to filming in Jordan.  SWATH's Sam Claflin did attend with his girlfriend Laura Haddock.  

Harris expressed his elation via Twitter for both 'The Fades' win and his mini-series 'This is England '88" which won the Mini Series award as well.  Harris wrote:


"Overwhelmed by #BAFTA results tonight.Thank you for all your beautiful messages! God bless ShaneMeadows @jackthorne #TIE88 and#TheFades XX."
