MEET THE JAPANESE VOICES OF CHARLIZE THERON &
CHRIS HEMSWORTH

At an event in Japan on May 16th, actors Koyuki and Shiina Kippei performed an open recording voicing the characters of the Huntsman and the Evil Queen Ravenna for the Japan version of '
Snow White and the Huntsman,' according to tokyohive.com

"The open recording included famous scenes including the one with the line “Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” Koyuki, who voices Theron’s character Ravenna, commented on how she tackled her latest role. “I worry about how I should convey the way she plays up nuances in English in Japanese,” she said."

"This is the first time that actor Shiina, who will provide the voice for Hemsworth in the movie, has attempted voice acting. “They say stuff like, ‘Cut out the ‘well…’ and it’ll make it a second shorter’, and take out other things that you don’t really think about when you’re acting,” he said of his first time recording as a voice actor."

The film opens on June 15th in Japan.
