'BREATH OF LIFE' NOMINATED!
 VOTE FOR THE SWATH SOUNDTRACK FOR A 
'WORLD SOUNDTRACK AWARD'



The powerful song by Florence and the Machine, 'Breath of Life', has been nominated for Best Original Song written directly for a Film (see who else is competing against SWATH below) at the 12th World Soundtrack Awards

Fans also have the opportunity to vote for the Snow White and the Huntsman Soundtrack for the Public Choice Award.  Fans can go here to cast your vote for the SWATH soundtrack.  Voting ends September 15th.




SWATH soundtrack composer James Newton Howard will also be honored in concert at the awards. "Howard is one of the most versatile and respected film music composers currently working in film. A program of his impressive music will be performed by the renowned Brussels Philharmonic and be accompanied by select film clips. The concert will be conducted by both Howard and Dirk Brossé." 

Howard not only scored SWATH but Water for Elephants, The Hunger Games, Pretty Woman, King Kong, Salt, The Fugitive and more.  


The World Soundtrack Academy was founded in 2001 to celebrate the role of music in film and honor film composers. 


The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 20th in Belgium at 8pm CEST/ 2pm EDT.
