GOLDEN GLOBE ROUND UP:
TOBY JONES TALKS JENNIFER LAWRENCE & MORE ~
STEWART WAS THERE...IN SPIRIT

Toby Jones attended the 70th Annual Golden Globes yesterday evening in Los Angeles where there were a couple of upsets, but unfortunately he was not one of them.  Kevin Kostner, the favorite in his category, took the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television for the Hatfields & McCoys.

Josh Horowitz of MTV News caught up with Jones on the red carpet where he spoke about his future projects including Serena, Catching Fire and Captain America

Check out more photos of Jones below.

Kristen Stewart did not attend the Golden Globes ceremony, however she was definitely there in spirit.

More after the jump

First up was Cecil B. Demille Lifetime Achievement honoree Jodie Foster who spoke briefly about Stewart at  her press conference (discussed below).  Foster referenced in her acceptance speech about understanding how it is to be a young actor growing up in Hollywood to which Stewart can relate.  Foster has been in show business since the age of 3.

Foster who was the talk of the world and a trending topic on Twitter for hours based upon her acceptance speech.  Foster spoke about her life, protecting her privacy and her future work in film.  The headline of the speech was her speaking about her sexual orientation (in so many words) and her right not to have to talk about it as if her life was "a reality show."

"But now apparently I’m told that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance, and a primetime reality show. And you guys might be surprised, but I’m not Honey Boo Boo child."

Jodie Foster Earns Twitter 'Respect' At Golden Globes

At her press conference, Foster was apparently asked about her relationship with her friends Mel Gibson who starred with her in 1994's Maverick and Stewart (2002 Panic Room).  Foster clearly has a profound loyalty to both of them.

Although the question in inaudible, take a look at her response beginning at 3:28 below.

Next was E!'s Marc Malkin who tweeted earlier and later reported that Stewart attended a private VIP post-Golden Globe party held by Golden Globe hosts Tina Fey and Amy Pouler at the Soho House in LA.

Stewart cannot escape media coverage even when she was not a participant in the festivities.  Foster may have a point about that "right to privacy" thing.
