A NEW INCREDIBLE CHARACTER POSTER OF CHARLIZE THERON IN 'MAD MAD: FURY ROAD' RELEASED AT SDCC 2014

A new character poster of Charlie Theron as Imperator Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road was released today at the  2014 San Diego Comic-Con to extreme audience approval from all accounts. 

"If there's a "winner" so far from Comic-Con, it's WB's "Mad Max: Fury Road" which utterly awed San Diego audiences this afternoon in Hall H. Four new character posters have been released," writes The Playlist.

Fury Road is set to be released in 2015 after a 2-year delay due to production strife. 

This is definitely one of the films to look forward to next year.

CHRIS HEMSWORTH AS THOR IN NEWLY RELEASED AGE OF ULTRON COMIC BOOK POSTER

With the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con in full swing, studios are releasing teasers for their upcoming films. Marvel/Disney Studios will have their highly anticipated panel this Saturday for what will be their 2015 blockbuster sequel to the Avengers called Avengers: Age of Ultron. 

Today, they released comic book posters of each of the characters. Chris Hemsworth is featured as Thor fighting off robot-like creatures.

IAN MCSHANE MEETS HIS FATE IN A FUNNY CLIP IN 'HERCULES' - OPENS IN THEATERS FRIDAY

Ian McShane who stars in the latest version of Hercules released by Paramount Pictures along with the always popular Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. 

In this clip, McShane (Amphararus) is about to meet death until he is saved by the man himself, Hercules played by Johnson.

Hercules opens this Friday in IMAX 3D to what is expected to be another blockbuster for both.

CHRIS HEMSWORTH'S THOR SPORTS AN UNFLATTERING WIG IN NEWLY RELEASED EW PHOTOS OF 'AGE OF ULTRON'

Entertainment Weekly has a sneak peek at Chris Hemsworth and the cast of the 'Avengers: Age of Utron' in the Comic-Con 2014 preview edition. 

Hemsworth's hair as Thor looks just about as bad looking as Superman's was in 'Superman III'. What was the director thinking? At least Chris Evans' Captain America looks a lot more put together even with a dirty costume. Maybe that's why he didn't make the cover.

We can understand if you've been in a hard battle but a superhero still comes out looking a bit better than this.  He is Thor for goodness sakes. 




Not only can you see that it's a wig, it's a bad one. Can they do a retake?

In another photo, Thor (on the far left) can be seen sitting in what appears to be in regular human clothing. Maybe EW will shed some light on this.

KRISTEN STEWART MAKES LA TIMES LIST OF ACTORS UNDER 30 WHO MATTER

The LA Times takes a look at actors who are under 30 years of age who matter in Hollywood.  Kristen Stewart was mentioned among the actors who are "more interested in the art than artifice." 

In other words, they're not in it for the fame.

The LA Times noted how it was unfortunate that the lack of casting of minorities (in the age group) in Hollywood made it difficult to place more on the list.

The actors who made the list have an "array of talent" and an "earnestness and directness" in their "approach to the work." They will apply "more of what we think of as an indie style even when the project is in blockbuster territory or playing with extremes of sci-fi fantasy."

Stewart (Twilight, Snow White and the Huntsman), Shaliene Woodley (Divergent), Jennifer Lawrence (Hunger Games) are known for taking that approach to their blockbuster films.

What made Stewart standout? 

Betsy Sharkey writes, "[Stewart] Hit my radar in "Panic Room" as Jodie Foster's character's daughter having to do or die after a home invasion. Proved a keeper outside of the "Twilight" zone as a moody teenage Joan Jett in "The Runaways."

KRISTEN STEWART & ANNE HATHAWAY GO DRAG FOR MUSIC VIDEO WHICH TAKES ON HOLLYWOOD'S DOUBLE STANDARDS

Kristen Stewart would have made Run DMC proud as she rocked the Adidas track suit with a mustache in the Jenny Lewis music video for her single 'Just One Of The Guys'. 

Stewart was joined by Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway and Brie Larson as they mock played instruments in a backup band while lip syncing the song. 

Although the video had a comedic take, it actually had a serious message about the uneven treatment and criticism women receive for only doing what a man does. 

The Wire describes the song's lyrics as speaking to the "double standard" that "these actresses face in the public eye. Whereas male stars can get away with being blasé with the press or campaigning hard for an Oscar, actresses like Stewart and Hathaway get criticized. No matter how hard they try to be just one of the guys, they can't..."

NEW MOVIE POSTER FOR KRISTEN STEWART'S 'CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA'

A new poster featuring Kristen Stewart for her film 'Clouds of Sils Maria' which stars Juliette Binoche as the aging actress. Stewart plays her assistant and Cloe Grace Moretz plays the new up incomer actress.

Indiewire reports that CoSM may also play at the Toronto International Film Festival and Telluride Film Festival in Colorado before it opens December 1st (US) in time for the awards nomination season.

How do we remember them together in Adventureland. A photo was tweeted out by a fansite Twitter account of American Ultra of Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg. Fans have been waiting to see a photo of the two back together again and they look just as adorable now as they did then.

American Ultra is currently in post-production. Stewart is heading to Japan in a couple of weeks to begin filming the highly anticipated Equals which also stars Nicholas Hoult.

ANOTHER HEARTBREAKING LOSS FOR THE SWATH FAMILY: DAVE LEGENO FOUND DEAD

The SWATH family lost another beloved actor Dave Legeno, 50. Legeno was known mainly for his role as the terrorizing werewolf Fenrir Greyback in the Harry Potter films. 

His role in SWATH did not require much dialogue. However the scene had plenty of levity as he pummeled the drunken Huntsman demanding to be paid his money.

According to a statement given by the Inyo County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Legeno's body was located "by hikers early Sunday morning [July 6] 'in a remote wash' near Death Valley’s famed Zabriskie Point [in California]." 

Reports state that Legeno could have passed due to heat related problems; however, the coroner has yet to determine the exact cause of death. 

Reactions have come from both the SWATH and the Harry Potter families.  Sam Claflin tweeted regarding his shock and Potter's Tom Felton spoke of his fondness.

EDDIE MARSAN WINS ANOTHER BEST ACTOR AWARD FOR 'STILL LIFE' AT THE RUSSIAN VOICES FILM FESTIVAL

Eddie Marsan has won another Best Actor award for his role in 'Still Life' at the 5th Edition of the Voices Film Festival. 'Still Life' also won the Grand Prix and Best Film awards as well. It has been only two weeks since Marsan won the same award at the Edinburgh Film Festival.

Voices is a Russian showcase for young European independent filmmakers.

"Jury president Svetlana Proskurina said that the decision for the Grand Prix had been “absolutely unanimous”, while VOICES art director Korinna Danielou recalled that having Still Life at the festival had been “a dream come true” for her," according to Screen Daily.

Could this be a hint of things to come for this upcoming award season? Let's hope so. Congrats again to Eddie Marsan for a another win.

KRISTEN STEWART'S BATHROOM HAIRCUT

Kristen Stewart surprised the world with a newly fresh cut hairdo when she walked the red carpet at the Chanel Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. While still sporting her orange hue from being dyed for her role in American Ultra (although E! News wrongly referred to her hair color on their show on Tuesday as if it was a new dye job), her well-known long locks had disappeared.

Elle magazine shines a light on the whole story about how the hair cut described as "one part rocker, one part soccer mom" came about only two hours before the show and it begins in a bathroom.

"As the paparazzi outside the Grand Palais des Champs-Elysées snapped away at the white harem pant-clad star, her hairstylist, Ken O'Rourke, took to Instagram to show off his handiwork. He posted a pic of the freshly shorn star with the caption "My new haircut for #kristenstewart #firehair really was a wash and go #noproduct #cutitinthebathroom #chanel #couture #paris #somuchfun and she rocks it." She rocks it for sure, but what is this cut in the bathroom business? We had to find out.

Luckily O'Rourke was able to take some time out of his whirlwind Paris schedule to tell us a little about the look. "Yes it's true, I cut her hair two hours before the show in her hotel bathroom," he said when I questioned his hashtag. "We had fun doing it, and at the end the bathroom floor was covered in red hair." After, he let Stewart's hair air dry as she had her makeup done and got dressed. He then ran a dab of wax though her tresses and sprayed them with a quick spritz of dry shampoo. And that was it: a no-fuss style, for a no-fuss kind of girl.

Since it has such minimal upkeep, O'Rourke thinks this look, which he calls a cross between a 1970's coupe savage and and River Pheonix, is perfect for the girl with a hectic schedule. "It has versatility and can transform from wash-and-run to nighttime chic—it's not a personality stealer, it's a confidence giver." As for the color, O'Rourke went for a haircut that works in harmony with her fiery hue and makes it look even more interesting.

K Stew has always been a bit hard to put your finger on. Sometimes she comes across with a seemingly 'I don't want to be here' attitude and other times it's like she's the most down-to-earth girl in the room. Of course, we'll never really know, but thinking about her getting her hair chopped off in a hotel bathroom two hours before going to hang out with Karl Lagerfeld at one of the biggest fashion events of the year, makes us think she's pretty darn cool."

Yeah, we agree...KStew is pretty darn cool.

NEW INTERNATIONAL TRAILER FOR 'CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA' SHOWS MORE OF STEWART

Here is the latest international trailer for 'Clouds of Sils Maria' which stars Kristen Stewart, Juliette Binoche and Cloe Grace Moretz. 

Stewart plays a personal assistant to an aging actress (Binoche) who stars in a film with a younger actress (Moretz) who is playing the role she had at her age. 

CoSM opens December 1st in theaters.

KRISTEN STEWART WOWS PARIS WITH NEW HAIR CUT IN SEXY PHOTOSHOOT WITH JULIETTE BINOCHE

Kristen Stewart set Parish Fashion Week on fire after she appeared sporting a newly cut short hairdo. Could it be a new look for her new film 'Equals' or was it just time for a change?

Stewart explains her latest hairstyle to Women's Wear Daily.

[Stewart] “I’m ultimately going to go a little bit shorter for this next film that I’m going to do called ‘Equals,’ but I figured, you know, before I went all the way — might as well just play around with something for the show,” she said, adding that the orange color was a leftover from her most recent shoot, “American Ultra.” 

Stewart will star with Nicholas Hoult in “Equals,” billed as a futuristic love story, and confessed she is nervous before each new shoot. “That’s the feeling that I look for. That’s everything that drives me. You know — and a lot of people say this — but if you’re not a little afraid of what you’re doing, it’s probably not worthwhile,” she remarked. 

However, the “Twilight” star has gotten over her initial fear of working with French actress Juliette Binoche on “Sils Maria,” which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May. The two will be reunited soon on “The Big Shoe.” “The intimidation level is down a bit, but now I feel like we need to up our games because it’s, like, the second go. I’m so excited. She’s become one of my favorite people in the world,” Stewart said. 


Stewart posed for a photoshoot with Juliette Binoche who she stars with in 'Clouds of Sils Maria'.  This shoot appears to be for the upcoming promotion of their film.

Stewart received critical acclaim for her performance as Valentine at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.

EDDIE MARSAN WINS BEST ACTOR AT 2014 EDINBURGH FILM FESTIVAL FOR 'STILL LIFE'

Eddie Marsan's 'Still Life' (2013) continues to receive critical acclaim with him recently winning Best Performance in a British Feature Film at the 2014 Edinburgh Film Festival.

Directed and produced by Uberto Pasolini (Bel Ami, The Full Monty), 'Still Life' has received several nominations and awards including Best Film, Best Director, Pasinetti Critics’ Prize and Cineuropa at the 2013 Venice Film Festival; Best Film at the 2013 Reykjavik and Edinburgh Film Festivals.

"In this poignant and inspirational drama," Marsan plays John May, "a quiet optimistic an selfless man who finds joy in helping everyone but himself." May is a case worker who searches for the relatives of those who are found dead and alone.

NEW STILLS OF KRISTEN STEWART IN 'CAMP X-RAY'

New movie stills were released of Kristen Stewart as Private Amy Cole in the 'Camp X-Ray'. 

Directed by Peter Sattler, CXR is about Pvt. Coles experience at Guantanamo Bay where she befriends a detainee who has imprisoned there for eight years. 

Stewart received good critical praise for her performance in the role as Cole at the Sundance Film Festival. Just looking at the photos, it is clear that Stewart is in a role which she has never performed before and it looks really intense. 

'Camp X-Ray' opens October 2014.
