SWATH FAMILY MOURNS THE LOSS OF LEGENDARY ACTOR BOB HOSKINS..."Brilliant, Inspirational" ~ Eddie "Duir" Marsan

IMDb

The twinkle in his eye.  The adorable side smirk. The gravelly American accent he presented on ocassion. The brilliant British talent...is gone.

Today the world lost one of its great actors and for some, a great person. For SWATHers, he was our lovable wise-man.

Robert William Hoskins who was called Bob by everyone, died Tuesday night at the age of 71 of pneumonia.

Mr. Hoskins' health had been an issue for some time.  In 2012 shortly after the release of Snow White and the Huntsman, it was announced that he had Parkinson's disease which led to his official retirement from acting.

Sadly, SWATH would be the final film of his outstanding career.

The SWATH cast expressed their condolences via Twitter, as did the world, trending "RIP Bob Hoskins" throughout the day.

SWATH's Eddie Marsan tweeted:

"I never thought it was possible to become an actor until I saw Pennies From Heaven as a kid. RIP Bob Hoskins, brilliant, inspirational, kind."

SAM CLAFLIN TALKS TO COLLIDER ABOUT LUCK GETTING ROLES (SWATH, HUNGER GAMES), 'THOR', 'LOVE ROSIE' & MORE

Who knew that Sam Claflin wants to be a comic book movie villain?  But he does and he would be great at it too.

Collider interviewed Claflin during the promotion of his film The Quiet Ones but chose to ask him other questions which provided really good insight into his current career path.

Claflin talks about how he was lucky to obtain the roles in SWATH and the Hunger Games. However, he would love to be a villain in a comic book film. Claflin beams about how the Avengers franchise branches out to other individual films (Thor, Iron Man etc...).

He also mentions that he will complete filming Mocking Jay in June. He also goes into how it still is "tough" securing roles although he has starred in a handful of Hollywood blockbusters.

Check out the charming interview in the video below and see Claflin in The Quiet Ones in theaters now.

SAM CLAFLIN GIVES CHRIS HEMSWORTH A BEATING IN MTV'S 'AFTER HOURS'

Did the prince have a SWATH flashback beating down the huntsman?

Sam Claflin visited MTV during the New York leg of the promotion of his new horror film The Quiet Ones only to join MTV News reporter Josh Horowitz in his funny After Hours skit.

Entitled "Sam Claflin: Master of Fear," it parodies Sam's fear of everything although he swears he is afraid of nothing.

Horowitz leads Sam through a tour of the MTV offices as he [Sam] comes across everyday items such as staplers and spit pea soup which he pretends not to be afraid of but clearly he is afraid.

They soon come across a cardboard cutout of Chris Hemsworth which is a photo of him during his last appearance on the MTV Movie Awards where he shared the stage with Kristen Stewart.

Sam then snaps thinking the cutout is a demon replica of Chris without his signature smile and proceeds to beat the pulp out of it with a bat.

Check out Sam in this hilarious skit above and head to theaters this Friday to check out The Quiet Ones.

Get tickets at Fandango for the early showings tomorrow night.
