STEWART'S 'BELLA'
AS 'DARTH MAUL'?
YOU CAN BE DARTH MAUL TOO!!

(Summit/Lucas Film)

If you thought you've seen it all...take a look at this!

Screen Rant decided to celebrate the re-release of Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace by playing Lucas Film's "Darth Maul and Me".  So they placed Darth Maul's face on characters in "25 Popular Movies (That Aren't Star Wars)."  If you are totally geeking out right now raise your hand.

Since Twilight is popular, they took Kristen Stewart's 'Bella' featured in Eclipse and well...you see the result's.  From Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, check out who is wearing the Darth Maul mask here.  You'll get a chuckle or two.

Here's our attempt to place the Darth Maul mask on Charlize Theron's Young Adult character, 'Mavis', who could be considered a Sith Lord herself as well the Evil Queen who is also a Sith Lord in her on right.

So go here, take a photo and have fun!!

IT'S NOT HER SHOW...THERON CLEARS RECORD REGARDING
SWATH TRAILER

In an interview with The Film Experience during her recent press junket for 'Young Adult', Charlize Theron set the record straight regarding the so-called "lack of" appearance of Kristen Stewart in the teaser trailer released last November.

The Snow White trailer is so great. As trailers go.

Thank you. I thought it was a pretty bad-ass trailer.

And it's totally you... 'The Charlize Show!'

Oh god, no! It's SO not. I started shooting the film so there was more footage of me. But then Kristen took over. That's the only reason it was like that. She's amazing in the film.

As Universal has indicated, the initial trailer released was a "teaser".  Filming was still ongoing when the trailer was released.  As Charlize has indicated, footage of her was available that could be used in the trailer. What was seen definitely captured the public's attention.

Her appearance had nothing to do with any nafarious reason as to why Kristen was not shown as much.
Also looking at the footage, there are scenes of the army and at the Marloes, which have been seen through published photos, that included Stewart. These scenes were available to be quickly cut into the trailer to give fans a taste of what is to come.

It is good to finally have the record set straight about the trailer.  What took so long for this interview to be published is anyone's guess.

Charlize also talks about her possible conflict of interest with the cross promotion of Prometheus (which will be released the following weekend) and SWATH.

With movies like Snow White and The Hunstman and Prometheus, how thick is the contract that says 'You must never speak of this!'

It's not that bad. Maybe I perpetuate it myself. There is a part of me that wants to go "Just hang on guys. All in good time" In both films there's a nice element of surprise. Obviously. They're both in genres that you want to do something unusual with. I haven't seen the films. Everyone is editing and figuring it out. I don't mean to be too secretive about it but I know Ridley has been really cool and saying 'We love the genre and there's not a lot you can say without spoiling the film.' Everyone is kind of doing that. I dunno.

SNOW WHITE OR THE EVIL QUEEN - ELIZABETH REASER SAYS WHO'S TOUGHER

In an interview with VH1 during the Young Adult premiere, Kristen Stewart's Twilight co-star Elizabeth Reaser, expressed her opinion about which SWATH character is going to kick more tail between Stewart's 'Snow White' and Charlize Theron's 'Evil Queen'.  Reaser's take is interesting as she believes Theron's queen is going to kick more tail based upon the trailer.

Theron's queen may kill and torture more people, however in hand-to-hand combat, Stewart's 'Snow White' wields a sword and shield, runs through fire, fights an army not to mention Stewart did knock out 'Thor' (Chris Hemsworth) with a punch to the face, which in our book, kicks more tail and without magic.

Reaser stars in Young Adult with Theron which was released in theaters on December 16th. Check out Reaser's interview below.

BIG DAY FOR THERON: 'YOUNG ADULT' PREMIERE ALONG WITH A NOM BY THE GOLDEN GLOBES

USA Today spoke with Charlize Theron regarding her big day Thursday with the premiere of her new film 'Young Adult' and receiving a Golden Globe nomination as Best Actress for the film earlier that day.

A Golden Globe nomination and her film's premiere, all in the same day?

"Yeah, these are the moments where you go, what did I do in a past life to deserve all of this?" said a glam Theron on the red carpet. "It's all too much."

But screenwriter Cody wasn't surprised by the accolades Theron's racked up playing Mavis Gary, a shallow former prom queen who, at 37, returns to her hometown to callously snare her (married) high school boyfriend.

"I knew she was going to do an amazing job - she's Charlize Theron - but when I started watching dailies and seeing what she was doing out there, I was like, 'Oh my god,"' said Cody. "Because suddenly the movie was to me, even riskier than it had been on the page. She played it in such a committed and intense way."

The premiere took place in Los Angeles held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

CHARLIZE THERON AT LETTERMAN LAST NIGHT

Charlize Theron appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman last night to promote her new movie 'Young Adult' which opens December 16th.

The appearance was fun as she joked about how her high heel shoes hurt her feet; and how she was getting plastic surgery done and had to have time to heal up so that is why no one has seen her in films.  That was a joke by the way.

Check out a view more picture of Charlize below.

TWO 'SNOW WHITE' MOVIES... THERON SAYS TO "CHILL OUT"

"I don't know! But it's not a big deal. Honestly, I feel like people are in such a panic about it. I want everyone to take a deep breath..."

Charlize Theron tells Moviefone in interview for her 'Young Adult' press junket when asked "Why are there were two Snow White movies?"

Theron clearly finds that it is really no big deal.

MF:  I'm not in a panic, I'm just confused...
CT:   [Laughs] Calm down, it's going to be OK.

MF:  I feel better now. Thank you.
CT:   I think, also, now that the trailers are out, people understand they are two very, very different films. And there's no way financers are going to throw that kind of money toward two films they didn't feel like there was a market for both. So, everybody needs to chill out. It's going to be amazing. We're going to have two Snow Whites -- incredible!

MF:  And you're good in it?
CT:   Ah, well... [knocks on a wooden table] that was me knocking on wood! Transcribe that!

THERON HOPES TO KILL 'SNOW WHITE'

Universal

As Charlize Theron continues her promotion of 'Young Adult', she will have the ocassional opportunity to talk about SWATH.  EB will be posting the interviews that bring out something new or maybe have an interesting quote or even brings Theron's funny and offbeat humor.

This interview with MTV is one of them.  She is hoping for a change in the fairy tale ending.  But if producers plan on having two more films, we doubt her ending will come true...at least not in the first film.

See the portion of her SWATH comments below and see the rest of the inteview here.

THERON TAKES ISSUE WITH NY REPORTER: "I'M GOING TO F**K HIM UP"

As 'Young Adult' gears up to open December 16th, Charlize Theron and her fellow cast members are doing the press and talk show rounds.

During press interviews at a screening in New York last night, a reporter who Theron is familiar with did a no no by labeling her character as an "unsympathetic, she seems to be an alcoholic, delusional, mentally ill person, kind of a loser."  He found out that Theron does not like labels too much.

IF Press provides the account of what happened next as follows:

Listening later, during the question, I hear co-star Patton Oswalt whisper to her, "Let it go, let it go."

Theron clearly whispers back, "I'm gonna f--- him up."

Her response to the microphone: "Well, first of all, nice to see you again. Second of all, thanks for insulting me. Third of all, I've never been a fan of labels."

The lesson: Don't insult Charlize Theron -- or anybody she plays.

Guess that reporter didn't see her in 'Queen mode' in the SWATH trailer.  NY press is as tough as they come and will hit hard, Theron just showed how tough she was and sucker punched him back.
Maybe it is from her experience dealing with mean girls growing up.  According to the New York Daily news, Theron provided an account with her experiences growing up and having to be teased by mean girls.

"I wore really nerdy glasses because I was blind as could be and the boys didn't like ," she said. "I didn't have any boyfriends, but lots of crushes."

But back in the day, her awkward haircut and glasses kept her on the outer fringes of popularity.

"I wasn't in the popular crowd," the stunner, 36, said of her growing pains. "There was a really popular girl at school and I was obsessed with her. I mean you would go to jail for that stuff today.

"I was in tears one day because I couldn't sit next to her."

Now she's an Oscar winner, the face of a Dior campaign and about to star in two highly anticipated movies next year with SWATH and 'Prometheus'.

Not bad for a unpopular geek. Read the rest of the article here.

In the meantime, you can catch Theron December 9th on 'Live With Kelly'. Check here for your local listing and set your DVRs. Here's hoping for a little SWATH talk.

Thanks to @malenacasey for the Kelly appearance information.

Universal

In an interview with Access Hollywood for her next movie 'Young Adult', Charlize Theron admits that after all the filming that has taken place, Kristen Stewart and she have not filmed any scenes yet.  However, she clearly likes playing the Evil Queen because she says she makes her "feel like a pre-teen".

“I’ve been like a 12-year old… ‘That’s my castle, that’s my house," says Theron to Access Hollywood.

The actress called the “Snow White” project, “ambitious,” and she said playing the Evil Queen Ravenna has been “very fun.”
