ANNE HATHAWAY CALLS OUT KRISTEN STEWART FOR ALS CHALLENGE!

Academy Award winning actress Anne Hathaway joined Instagram in order to complete her portion of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. But while she was at it, she decided to nominate a few people of her own and one of those people was Kristen Stewart.

And we thought they were buddies considering they just had fun filming a video together.

Thanks to his 'Avengers' mate Robert Downey Jr., we've already seen Chris Hemsworth completed his challenge even though it was after the 24 hour deadline. However, with 24 hrs already ticking, will Stewart complete hers?

Well let's hope she received the word because she's a half world away filming Equals in Japan. Maybe she could get Nicholas Hoult to do the honors or maybe Guy Pearce since he was nominated by his 'Rover' co-star Robert Pattinson. They can do it together (smiles). But no doubt she will get the word.

Hathaway looked adorable as ever challenging Jessica Chastain, Matthew McConaughey and the infamous Joan Rivers whom Hathaway has a well-known disliking for...she's not alone.

So let's see if Stewart will get the word and take the challenge.

Time is ticking....(chuckles).  Check out Hathaway challenge Stewart below.  Donate to ALS here.

HEADING TO SUNDANCE, STEWART IS A BIT NERVOUS ABOUT ROLE IN 'EQUALS'

Kristen Stewart has a reputation of being a bit of a toughie. However, she is just like the rest of us when it comes to getting nervous about a new job.

In an Associated Press interview, Stewart explains that she is "terrified" of her upcoming role in the Drake Doremus science fiction love story called Equals.

Equals stars Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies) who will play Stewart's lover in the film. Stewart describes the story as "devastating."  "It's about love in a world where love really doesn't exist anymore," says Doremus.

"I trust Drake's process and I know we will do something really natural and real," said Stewart. "But I told Drake, 'Don't Expect that I am going to be able to do this. It's too hard.'  But he wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. I've given directors disclaimers before, but never this much."

Regardless of Kristen's reservations, Doremus was 100% sure she could pull it off.

"It became evident in my head that Nick and Kristen would have great chemistry," the director said.

"It's a love story of epic, epic, epic proportion," added Stewart. "I'm scared."

Kristen has nothing to worry about. She can do love stories.  Maybe someone should remind her about starring in one of the most epic vampire/human love stories for the ages.

Kristen has also shown her lover side at a young age in The Cake Eaters and later in Adventureland.

Kristen has also shown the ability to be able to handle fantasy with supernatural circumstances (Snow White and the Huntsman, Zathura, Twilight) and perform with green screen work.

Therefore looking at it from that perspective, she can hang with a futuristic setting. And fans will be looking forward to seeing Kristen in a different and challenging role.  She'll do just fine.

Equals is currently in pre-production and will begin filming later this year.

AP notes that Kristen will be attending the Sundance Film Festival this week for her film Camp X-Ray. Camp X-Ray is scheduled to begin showing on Friday, January 17th.

Check the schedule here for more times.

STEWART'S 'TWILIGHT' HAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST MOVIE FANDOMS (FROST'S CORNETTO TRILOGY & MORE)

Summit Entertainment

It's like stating that the sun rises from the east and sets in the west.  If anyone did not know that Kristen Stewart's 'Twilight' has one of the biggest fandoms - ever, well they have either been living in a cave or in a state of denial.

Total Film released a list of their 50 Biggest Movie Fandoms. Looking it over, it's a pretty accurate list.

Stewart's Twilight came in at #2.  Nick Frost's Cornetto Trilogy made the list at #38. Toby Jones's Harry Potter franchise (which also features other SWATH actors) came in at #4 and The Hunger Games at #9.

Although some fans may take issue (more or less) with the order of how they were listed; however, Total Film pretty much hit the nail on the head with Twilight fans.

Total Film states the following:

TWILIGHT:

The Franchise: The five films adapted from Stephanie Meyer's young adult vampire saga might have been critically derided, but try telling that to the Twihards whose idolatry for Edward Cullen and Bella Swan knows no bounds.

The Fandom: There are fans, and there are Twihards. There are also - according to this glossary - several more sub-species of Twi-zealots.

Most Amazing Example Of Devotion: A week prior to the premiere of Breaking Dawn - Part Two, a fan camp was set up for the faithful to catch site of their beloved R-Pattz and K-Stew.

To take the characteristics of the Twilight fandom even further, Summit Entertainment recently announced a Twilight movie marathon in New York to celebrate the release of the Twilight Forever DVD where it immediately sold out.  Summit had to form a "wait list" for a film franchise that is supposed to be over.

Twilight fans are not wavering with their love for Stewart's Bella Swan (Cullen) and Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen or the Cullen family of vampires in the least bit.

However, one cannot dispute that Star Wars fans are #1. Star Wars has been around longer (since 1977) and their fans are still going strong.  All you have to do is check out the infamous San Diego Comic-Con where Star Wars turned it into a Hollywood sanctuary for geeks.

But insofar as being protective of a franchise, you have to give it to those passionate Twihards.  People may have moved on and believe that Twilight is over, but all anyone has to do is ask MTV.  Stewart's Twilight fans are surely are not to be underestimated or counted out.

KRISTEN STEWART & BREAKING DAWN 2 RACK UP BIG WINS AT THE 2013 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS

Summit

UPDATE:  Kristen Stewart has swept all of her nominations by winning Choice Movie Liplock along with her co-star Robert Pattinson for Breaking Dawn 2.

Source: OTC

***************

The Teen Choice Awards did the right thing by honoring one of the biggest and profitable film franchises in history with nominations that MTV did not deem it deserved.

Kristen Stewart and her film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 led the movie category with several wins which included Choice Movie Actress, Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Choice Movie Actress, Romance.

MTV chose to ignore one of the most prolific group of fans around when they refused to nominate the final Twilight film for any MTV Movie Awards except for one dealing with being shirtless.

Twilight fans took issue with the slight and hit MTV back hard across the bow with a protest that received worldwide attention.

In other news, Chris Hemsworth lost out to Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man for Choice Movie Actor, Action.

So here are the results of Stewart's wins and read the entire list of winners here.

SNOW WHITE BECOMES A CASUALTY OF TWILIGHT/STEWART FANS'
MTV PROTEST

The outcome was inevitable and predicted but we gave it a good fight even with the nefariousness in the voting included (coming up in a later article). Kristen Stewart's fans, in particular her Twilight fans, were having none of it when it came to her winning a Golden Popcorn at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

Twilight fansites led by Twilight Poison initiated a social media protest  due to the lack of nominations, in particular Best Kiss, which Stewart and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 received.

The protest was extended to include not voting for Stewart's Snow White in order to not provide Stewart a reason to have any part of the show.

Unfortunately for SWATH but lucky for Bilbo, Stewart's Twilight fans won.  HitFix gives kudos to the Twilight fans as one of their "Best" in their 'Best and Worst of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards'.

"They [Twilight fans] protested the social networking vote for Best Hero, too, which probably would have gone to Kristen Stewart's Snow White from "Snow White and the Huntsman" in a landslide but instead went to Bilbo Baggins from "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Rock on, Twihards. You are freakin' SERIOUS."

The fans were told not to watch MTV but to participate in a worldwide viewing party of Breaking Dawn 2 exactly at 9pm EST or when it aired in their own time zone. Fans were also asked to tweet about the film and their memories of the 'Nokia Tent City' premiere experience using the hashtag #BreakingDawnPart2Night in order to trend on Twitter over MTV.  The cast was also asked to join with the fans.

Twilight fans won, again, as the hashtag topped both MTV and host Rebel Wilson on Twitter all night trending their hashtag #BreakingDawnPart2Night.

Stewart also won the night (in a sense) when the winners for the Best Kiss award were announced, an instant worldwide trend under the fan nickname 'Robsten' (which is short for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart)  hit big stating, "Robsten Is The Best Kiss."

In other MTV Movie Awards news:

Chris Hemsworth's The Avengers took home the big prize including Movie of the Year, Best Fight and Best Villain.

Sam Claflin's upcoming Hunger Games film, Catching Fire, premiered its first trailer. However, he was not in it.  We are pretty sure he will be seen soon.

Read the rest of the winners here at MTV.

KRISTEN STEWART'S 'BELLA' IS TOPS AS "BRITAIN'S FAVORITE MOVIE MUM" IN EMPIRE CINEMAS POLL

Summit

Mother's Day in Britain brought a welcome surprise as  Kristen Stewart's Twilight character 'Bella Cullen' was voted as Britain's Favorite Movie Mum in an Empire Cinemas poll, according to Entertainment Wise.

Empire Cinemas conducted a poll which had several categories voted on by their moviegoers: Favorite Movie Mums, Funniest Movie Mums and Most Embarrassing Movie Mums.

Now the first thing the media wants to do is try to say that the Twilight fans made this happen - like duh.  But when you look at the list, really...is there any other mother that could beat what Bella Cullen did for her daughter Renesmee?

None of the other mothers actually went through one of the most horrendous pregnancies and delivery of a baby on film to only die in the process.  After which, she later has to be brought back to life (sort to speak) to only have to fend off the most powerful coven of vampires from killing your child.

Come on really, was there any competition?  Bella Cullen certainly earned her title.

So take a look at the rest of the moms mums who were honored below:

Empire Cinemas' Favorite Movie Mums:

1. Bella Swan - Kristen Stewart, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II
2. Donna Sheridan - Meryl Streep, Mamma Mia!
3. Molly Weasley - Julie Walters, Harry Potter series

Funniest Movie Mums:

1. Marge Simpson - Julie Kavner, The Simpson Movie
2. Donna Sheridan - Meryl Streep, Mamma Mia!
3. Edna Turnblad - John Travolta, Hairspray

Most Embarrassing Movie Mums:

1. Stifler's Mom - Jennifer Coolidge, American Pie
2. Marge Simpson - Julie Kavner, The Simpson Movie
3. Donna Sheridan - Meryl Streep, Mamma Mia!

STEWART'S SNOW WHITE & 'BREAKING DAWN 2' SWEEPS THE EMPIRE CINEMAS ALTERNATIVE MOVIE AWARDS

The UK's Empire Cinemas hosted their first Alternative Movie Awards to give fans a voice in this awards' season as a complement to the Oscars, Golden Globes and others.

Regardless of its criticsKristen Stewart's final installment of the Twilight franchise - Breaking Dawn Part 2 - continues to show that it has strong popularity worldwide by sweeping the awards.

Empire Cinemas asked their theater patrons to vote for the films by using unconventional categories.  Breaking Dawn 2 won in categories such as Best Fight Scene, were it beat out strong competition (Skyfall and The Dark Knight Rises)

Jon Nutton, Marketing Director for Empire Cinemas, said:

“The awards season is such a talking point in the film and cinema industry. We’ve created The Empire Cinemas Alternative Movie Awards to help celebrate film even more, but to also give film fans a voice and pick the winners of awards not generally seen at the big ceremonies.

Twilight was a huge success for Empire Cinemas and it’s clear to see our cinemagoers agree, voting it the winner of five awards.

Neither SWATH nor Chris 'The Huntsman' Hemsworth's body could not hold off Twilight's powerful force.  However, Universal's Les Miserables did win for Best Tear-Jerker.

Stewart and Breaking Dawn 2 will most likely continue to pick up more fan-voting awards (MTV Movie Awards, Spike Scream Awards) as it closes out its final run.

The DVD is set to be released this weekend in a last hurrah with nationwide fan events for its midnight release.

STEWART LEADS FORBES LIST OF HOLLYWOOD'S 'TOP GROSSING ROMANTIC COUPLES'

What does it say about the millennial generation that the most popular love story of their time involves a young lady, a vampire and a werewolf? ~ Forbes

Well it just says that love has no limits.  Kristen Stewart along with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson is the #1 romantic onscreen Top Grossing Romantic Couple according to Forbes.

Forbes determined their list by taking the "top-grossing romantic movies of the last three years" from the domestic box office data collated by Box Office Mojo.  Stewart's Twilight was the biggest money maker during that period of time bringing in $1.17 billion domestically and $3.3 billion worldwide.

A Rom-Com Twilight is not.  Twilight is a story about an ordinary teenager who falls unknowingly in love with a vampire.

Pattinson made the list twice coming in 10th place with his film Water for Elephants which co-starred Reese Witherspoon as his romantic interest.  The film bought in $117 million worldwide.
