On May 28, 2011, this site went online to support the Universal Pictures film Snow White and the Huntsman which is known by fans as "SWATH". 

The film's box office success spawned the sequel/prequel The Huntsman: Winter's War [sans Stewart].

Since SWATH's release, we have seen the cast and crew continue to prosper with various projects which they starred, wrote, produced and even directed. From blockbuster films to critically acclaimed television shows, they have shown a range of talent second to none.

The site will continue to tweet out some of the latest updates about the cast and crew in order to keep fans informed and support their latest work. 'THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR' STARS LIGHT UP THE BLACK CARPET AT THE LOS ANGELES PREMIERE

Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain and Nick Frost walked the black carpet Monday evening at the Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles for the premiere of The Huntsman: Winter's War.  

Fans were treated to a remarkable display of costumes from the film created by Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood.

'THE HUNTSMAN' NEW CHARACTER POSTERS RELEASED WITH NEW TITLE BUT HUNTSMAN MISSES SPOTLIGHT AS FANS QUESTION PREQUEL CLAIM

Universal Pictures revealed the new title, plot and character posters for 'The Huntsman' now known as The Huntsman Winter's War.

It appears that Universal may have to combat some trolling references to Frozen and Captain America: The Winter Soldier being tossed around due to Chris Hemsworth's Marvel connection and Emily Blunts movie poster (below) which appear to give a wink and a nod in name and appearance to the successful Disney films.

NICK FROST RETURNS AS 'NION' AS JESSICA CHASTAIN AND EMILY BLUNT JOIN SWATH PREQUEL

Deadline reports Nick Frost will be the only dwarf to reprise his role in Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman prequel, 'The Huntsman'. Frost will return as Nion.

Frost rejoins Chris Hemsworth as the huntsman and Charlize Theron as Queen Ravenna with SWATH's Visual Effects guru Cedric Nicolas-Troyan who will direct after the controversial departure of Frank Darabont. The first-time director received an Oscar nomination for his work on SWATH's VFX. This will most likely guarantee continuity between the two films. 

Also returning will be Joe Roth as producer and Palak Patel who will executive produce, according to Deadline.

Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) and Emily Blunt (Into the Woods) joined the cast. Blunt is reported to play a villain. No word on Chastain's role. 

'The Huntsman' is set to be released April 22, 2016.

NICK FROST TALKS ABOUT HIS ANIMATED FILM 'THE BOX TROLLS' WHICH OPENS TODAY

Nick Frost talks about his new animated film called The Box Trolls which released today in theaters.

The Box Trolls stars Elle Fanning, Simon Pegg and Ben Kingsley.

The Box Trolls is about "an orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator." (IMDb)

NICK FROST SHOWS OFF HIS DANCE MOVES IN 'CUBAN FURY'

HE'S GOT GAME MOVES!! 

Don't let him fool you but Nick Frost has pretty goo dance moves.  Frost shows off his agility in this new Cuban Fury behind-the-scenes featurette, released today, where he is seen dancing the salsa.

Frost tells how he really wanted to learn how to do the actual dance and not rely on editing tricks to show him dancing. 

Cuban Fury is a comedy about an overweight man who has loss his passion as a salesman and starts to win back his confidence through Latin dancing. 

Cuban Fury also stars SWATH's Ian McShane.  

Cuban Fury hits theaters in the UK on Valentine's Day. Check out the trailer below.

NICK FROST IN TALKS FOR VINCE VAUGHN COMEDY

The Wrap is reporting that Nick Frost is negotiating to join Vince Vaughn in a comedy called Business Trip.  

"Vaughn plays an American businessman whose trip to Europe is upended and devolves into amusing madness."

Frost's The World's End, which also stars fellow dwarf Eddie Marsan, has already opened in the UK and is currently set to open in the US on August 23rd.

NICK FROST HAVING A LAST CALL PROMOTING 'THE WORLD'S END' IN THE US (VIDEO, PHOTOS & TWEETS)

Somewhere in the City of Brotherly Love, Nick Frost, Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright were taking it over as they promoted The World's End during their Last Call Tour on Wednesday. 

The Last Call Tour has the trio traveling across the United States for the screening of the last film in the Cornetto trilogy while meeting fans along the way.  So far the tour has brought them to the cities of Dallas, Austin, Boston and Washington, DC.  (See where the tour goes next below).

Taking the time to make the rounds with the local media and fan events, Frost, Pegg and Wright got to experience some of the Philly scene during the visit.

NICK FROST ATTENDS COMIC-CON 2013

Nick Frost made an appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con on Friday for The World's End. 

Frost joked with fans along with director Edgar Wright and good friend Simon Pegg during the panel presentation. 

The World's End is the final installment of the Cornetto Trilogy.  Check out Wright's Tumblr for more photos of the series and take a look at a few photos of the Comic-Con appearance below. 

The World's End also stars Eddie Marsan who did not attend SDCC. The World's End is currently opened in the UK and will open in the US on August 23rd .

Eddie Marsan and Nick Frost attend the premiere on Thursday of their upcoming movie The World's End at Leicester Square in London, England.

Marsan and Frost joined fellow cast members along with director Edgar Wright to celebrate the last film of the what is considered to be a pseudo trilogy to included Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

NICK FROST GREETS FANS AT "WORLD'S END" AUTOGRAPH SIGNING

Nick Frost looks like he is enjoying himself as he signs autographs for fans at The World's End promotional signing held at HMV at Oxford Circus in London, England on Tuesday.

Frost was joined by director Edgar Wright and co-star Simon Pegg at the fan event. Check out a few photos below and more here.

Frost also appeared on BBC Radio as part of the promotion tour along with Pegg.

Nick Frost and Eddie Marsan are featured in the first trailer to be released for the next installment of what can be considered Britain's version of The Hangover but adds monsters and mayhem for the their film The World's End. 

The World's End is directed and co-written by Edgar Wright which also stars real life friends and co-writer Simon Pegg and Frost who make up the trio who have been taking the UK by storm with their previous films Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

In "The World's End," Simon Pegg plays Gary, a guy who seems to be emotionally stuck in adolescence. The fondest memory of his life is a pub crawl from his teenage days when he and four of his buddies set out to knock back five pints of beer each in twelve different bars. Snow White and the Huntsman a.k.a. SWATH was finally released worldwide on June 1, 2012. Although it did not meet the taste of some critics, it met the fans' expectations in a big way.  

On the second day of January 2011, the SWATH pre-visualization teaser footage was created.  The footage was shown at the San Diego ComicCon in June 2011 which eventually became the movie seen a year later.  

Now with a sequel in the future, here are the 'Top 10 SWATH Memories'  that led up to the year that was.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN!

Happy Birthday to dwarf Ian 'Beith' Mcshane still looking as swoonworthy as ever at the age of 70! Yeah we know we called you 'Caesar' last year but no one told us the dwarf names were changed. *winks*

McShane, who recently joined fellow dwarf Nick 'Nion' Frost in filming his movie Cuban Fury (to be released next year), is considered one of Hollywood's legendary actors.  He starred in last years hit film The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides with fellow SWATH actor Sam Claflin (Prince William) and is known for his tough guy role in the critically acclaimed HBO series Deadwood.

We hope to see McShane continue with his dwarf role in a future SWATH sequel.  In the meantime, have a wonderful day sir!

SWATH DWARF JOHNNY HARRIS TALKS SWATH, SINGING, HOSKINS, BECOMING POPULAR WITH TEEN COUSINS DUE TO STEWART & MORE

In a recent interview in conjunction with the SWATH Blu-ray DVD release in the UK, SWATH dwarf Johnny 'Quert' Harris spoke with Indie London about SWATH and other topics.

Harris talks about the potential for a sequel, tells a charming story about his increased popularity with his teenage cousins because of him being in the film with Kristen Stewart, singing on the soundtrack as well as his next projects.   

This is a really good and insightful interview from his perspective.  Read some excerpts from his interview below.

Harris talks about being Quert and his popularity with family members because of Stewart.

"He’s a bad dude, yeah [laughs]. I guess that’s why playing Quert in Snow White was such a refreshing change for me. When [director] Rupert [Sanders] said I would be playing the softie of the bunch I kind of laughed. He did also say they were a tough little bunch. But I also got to sing as well. If you’d told me I’d be singing in a Universal pictures movies a couple of years ago I’d have laughed because I’m not a singer. But by sheer luck, none of the other guys were singers either! We all gave it a go and Rupert went through the list before eventually, against will, pushing me forward. He said they would be able to dub it if it was really bad. But it’s me and now I’m officially on an album." 

"It comes in handy with regards to scoring points with my little cousins. Prior to being in Snow White I never got so much as a second glance from them but as soon as I was in a film with Kristen Stewart, all of a sudden I was getting calls. I got married last week and all my cousins are around the 12-13 mark and you could see how I’ve changed in their eyes. Now, all of a sudden they’re asking me about my work and asking if I can get Kristen’s autograph!" 


Harris does not know the status of the next film but will be ready to go if called.

"...you hear all sorts of rumours and there’s a good chance. But I don’t know is the honest answer. It’s really healthy for an actor just to keep things in the moment. And I’m really lucky to be busy. I’m writing at the moment too. So, if it [the sequel] was to happen I’ll hear about it when I’m meant to. The good thing is that you get plenty of notice with films like that, so there’s no need to worry. I think only the producers know at this stage what’s happening."


Harris talks more about his experience with SWATH and working with the legendary Bob Hoskins (Muir) who has recently retired due to the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease as well as with Kristen Stewart (Snow White).  

About SWATH:

"It’s been lovely to do because the response to it has been beautiful. A big movie like this can sometimes forgo storytelling in favour of effects. But people seem to have really gone for it. All the actors on it have come through realism in their performances… people like Ray Winstone and Bob Hoskins. We all wanted to make it as honest and real and engaging as we could, so it’s been gratifying to see that people have responded to that in what they’ve been saying about the film."

Working with Stewart:

"Yeah, the scene in particular was the funeral scene when I had to sing. And it only got confirmed on the morning that I’d be singing on my own because of the technicality of getting us all to do it. In moments like that, when the camera is focused on you, you tend to find other actors disappear but they remained standing in. It kind of tells you a lot about the feeling in general on the set. So, when I looked around Kristen was there, and Chris [Hemsworth], and Ray and Bob were stood either side of me. I’ll never forget that moment. It was an emotional moment in the film, we were all crying a bit, and when I looked up Kristen was also crying and the camera was not even on her. So, I was tremendously grateful to her for that."

Harris gives a poignant take on Hoskins last day on set:


"Not many people know this and I think I’m right in saying this – I’m not sure if Bob had to do re-shoots – but the last scene we shot together was the coronation scene in the grand hall. You’re talking about a scene with 500 to 600, so a huge crowd in this massive hall, which had this lovely echoey effect, and Bob’s final scene involved him taking a bow in front of this huge cheering crowd. It was really poignant because you don’t usually get that in film. As a stage actor, you get applause, but as a film actor they call ‘cut’ and you trudge off home to look at the next day’s scene. We get our premieres, I suppose, so it’s swings and roundabouts. But it was so nice and fitting that his final scene on film is Bob taking a bow."
