Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth received nominations for this years Teen Choice Awards. 

It is certainly not surprising that Stewart received a Choice Movie Actress: Drama nomination for her critically acclaimed performance as Lydia Howland in Sony Classics 'Still Alice.'

KRISTEN STEWART TELLS SETH MEYERS SHE'S NOT DISTANCING HERSELF FROM 'TWILIGHT'

Kristen Stewart finished off her 'Still Alice' promotional week Thursday on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The interview was insightful and charming as she talked about working with Julianne Moore, becoming an actress, her downtime from movies and how she is not one to turn away from Twilight.

KRISTEN STEWART CONTINUES 'STILL ALICE' PROMO WITH ALZHIEMER'S CAMPAIGN AND APPEARANCE ON TODAY SHOW

Kristen Stewart has been busy on her promotional tour this week for her film 'Still Alice' with an appearance on NBC's Today Show this morning. 

Stewart talks to host Matt Lauer about her character and being a star in Hollywood. Check out the full interview in the video below.

Besides the promotion of the film, Stewart with her fellow co-star Julianne Moore are participating in the Our Brains campaign led by Maria Shriver to bring awareness to fight Alzheimer's Disease. 

"Shriver is leading the charge, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, to engage women in using their brains to wipe out the disease. In this photograph she is joined by (from left to right) “Still Alice” author Lisa Genova, actress Kristen Stewart, Alzheimer’s Association early-stage advisor Sandy Oltz, actress Julianne Moore, film producer Pam Koffler, chief science officer to the Alzheimer’s Association and film advisor, Dr. Maria Carrillo and co-producer Elizabeth Gelfand Stearns."

Moore who plays Stewart's mother stricken with an early onset of the disease was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress this morning.

STEWART GETS LOVE & HEMSWORTH GETS ALL WET DURING A DAY OF PROMOTIONAL APPEARANCES FOR 'STILL ALICE' & 'BLACKHAT'

Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth had an eventful day Tuesday in New York as they made their respective rounds promoting separate films. 

Stewart attended a press conference and two live online interviews with AOL and Huffington Post alongside potential Oscar nominee and co-star Julianne Moore promoting their film 'Still Alice'.  Both ladies clearly enjoyed each others company while showing their enthusiasm and passion about the film.

Stewart ended the night attending The Cinema Society with Montblanc and Dom Perignon screening and afterparty of 'Still Alice' at the Landmark's Sunshine Cinema.   

Hemsworth spent the day promoting his film 'Blackhat' at the Today Show, Live with Kelly and Michael and the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon with an earlier stop with director Michael Mann at Sirius XM radio.

The night ended in a splash when Hemsworth and Fallon participated in a funny and somewhat sexy water fight segment. Whomever pulled the higher playing card got to splash the other with a full glass of water with the loser getting dowsed with a water gun. 

Hemsworth did not disappoint his female fans as he lost (not on purpose) and was drenched in water by Fallon while providing a little Chippendale-ish dance.

KRISTEN STEWART & CHRIS HEMSWORTH BEGIN PROMO TOURS THIS WEEK 'THE TODAY SHOW', 'JIMMY FALLON' & MORE

Both Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth have films being released this Friday and both will be out and about on their respective promotional tours.

Stewart will be promoting her film indie film 'Still Alice' which her performance has received acclaim. Julianne Moore who stars as her mother stricken with Alzheimer's Disease received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for a Motion Picture Drama last night in Beverly Hills, CA.  She is a strong front-runner for the lead actress Oscar.

On the other hand, Hemsworth who is People's 2014 Sexiest Man Alive, is promoting his big budget tech action drama 'Blackhat' directed by Michael Mann. He plays a computer hacker released from jail called on by the government to assist with a case of criminal hackers.

Hemsworth recently attended the 'Blackhat' premiere last Thursday, January 8th in Hollywood.

KRISTEN STEWART & JULIANNE MOORE TODAY SHOW APPEARANCE DISCUSS ALZHEIMER'S & 'STILL ALICE'

Kristen Stewart has began her promotion rounds for her film 'Still Alice' with an appearance on the Today Show on Monday. See the video below.

Joined with potential Oscar nominee Julianne Moore in an interview conducted by Marie Shriver, Stewart and Moore showed their chemistry onscreen was as real as off screen.

Stewart plays the estranged daughter who returns to take care of Moore's character who is stricken with an early onset of Alzheimer's Disease. 

Stewart says the film's message is to "be positive and live in the now."

"I think I found aspects of myself within this part that I hadn't had a reason to discover."  I can stand in something so grotesquely horrendous, and actually see the good in something, and try and see the light, and I didn't know that I had that."

Moore has known Stewart since she was a young child actress when as her husband Bart Freundlich directed her in 2004's  'Catch that Kid.'

Moore said she was "delighted" and "really really thrilled" when she heard Stewart was going to do the film because she "always loved her work so much."

Shriver asked Stewart, "To work with an actress of her [Moore] stature, what did that mean to you as an actress?"

Stewart began to state that she's repeatedly said it before and Moore chimed in and jokingly said to repeat what she said and not to stop saying it. Stewart then repeated, "I love you" several times as the pair laughed. 

The chemistry is real between the two actresses which critics have lauded. " 

Moore is a heavy favorite for the Best Actress Oscar for her performance.  This would be Moore's fifth nomination.

'Still Alice' is set to hit theaters in New York and LA on January 16th and nationwide in February.

SONY CLASSICS TWEETS KRISTEN STEWART FANS AN OSCAR MESSAGE

Sony Classics is showing that they are seriously standing behind Kristen Stewart for an Oscar nomination with the release of a new Oscar promotion banner. 

Sony Classics tweeted a message to Stewart's fans Monday stating, "This one goes out to all you Kristen Stewart fans out there #StillAlice."

And the crowd goes wild. It's okay, breathe in and breathe out. 

Stewart's strong performance in 'Still Alice' gives her a chance among other strong performances this year to get a possible Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actress. One thing is for sure, Sony is definitely showing that they have her back and fans are grateful. 

There was a bit of a bump in the road with the early release of the film on the internet due to a major cyber attack committed against Sony a couple weeks ago. The assault included the release of employee information for actors such as Sylvester Stallone, studio secrets, executive salaries etc...

Regardless, the film went into limited release in New York and Los Angeles just in time for the Academy Award consideration. The studio is going full steam ahead with the promotion of both Stewart and Julianne Moore who is said to be the front runner for Best Actress for her role as the mother/doctor in the midst of the onset of Alzheimer's.

Stewart has been receiving rave reviews for her performance as the caring daughter.  Fans keep your fingers crossed. Regardless of the outcome, we're proud of her. 

Now Sony, lets get that nomination!

KRISTEN STEWART, JULIANNE MOORE & MARIA SHRIVER ATTEND AFIFEST EMOTIONAL SCREENING OF 'STILL ALICE'

Described as an emotional night, Kristen Stewart attended the screening of 'Still Alice' with Julianne Moore at the AFI Film Festival Wednesday evening in Los Angeles.

Stewart and Moore were joined by executive producer and former First Lady of California Maria Shriver along with directors Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland in an emotional Q & A.

'Still Alice' is "based on Lisa Genova's bestselling novel, "Alice" chronicles the heartbreaking progression of early on set Alzheimer's disease for Dr. Alice Howard (Julianne Moore), a 50-year-old accomplished Columbia University professor and mother of three grown children. While she struggles to not "lose herself" to the disease, her family (played by Alec Baldwin, Kristen Stewart, Hunter Parish and Kate Bosworth) all react to her condition in different ways." SAM CLAFLIN CHARMS FANS AT THE UK 'HUNGER GAMES: MOCKING JAY PT 1' WORLD PREMIERE (Interviews/Videos/Photos)

The signature dimples were in full display as Sam Claflin walked the red carpet of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' at the UK World Premiere at Leicester Square in London. 

Claflin joined his fellow castmates Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci,  and more as they greeted the raucous fans.

KRISTEN STEWART JOINS OSCAR HOPEFULS AT THE AFI FEST INDIE CONTENDERS ROUNDTABLE

Kristen joined seven other potential Oscar nominees at the AFI Film Festival's Inaugural Indie Contender Roundtable hosted by The Hollywood Reporter's Scott Feinberg Sunday evening in Hollywood, California.

The Oscar hopefuls answered questions during a 90-minute session in front of a packed audience. 

The panel included Stewart, Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bill Hader, J.C. Chandor, Damien Chazelle, Marion Cotillard, Michelle Monaghan.

AFI tweeted a few answers from the panel including Stewart who answered a wide-range of questions: 

"You always want a huge launching pad 4 what u dumped your heart & soul's energy into" #KristenStewart on film fests 

"I'm not cool enough to fit in the indie scene. I'm the Twilight girl & that's it. But I think it's important to do both." #KristenStewart

This is the beginning of the Oscar push by Sony for a hopeful Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role in 'Still Alice'. 

Fans are sure to be hearing more from Stewart in the weeks ahead including the promotion for the limited release of the film in December in New York and LA in order to get into contention for the upcoming awards season.
