Those dwarves always enjoy a good beverage around a campfire.

As we indicated earlier this week, there has been an apparent blackout lift regarding the media visits to the SWATH set in October.  There are multiple accounts from different perspectives.  We will post a few and retweet others on Twitter.

FAN ACCOUNT OF SET VISIT FINALLY REVEALED

We have been waiting for this for a while but we finally get the account of the set visit won by SWATH fan Lynsey Jacob through MTV's Hollywood Crush.  Lynsey had the opportunity to meet Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin.

Here is a snippet of her account with Kristen Stewart's bodyguard a.k.a. "Hot Bodyguard":

Chris was rehearsing an action scene with the second unit director when we arrived and came by our little group afterwards to talk with us a bit. We spoke about the typical things that I was asked about throughout the day—where I’m from (“You sound American,” he said), how did I win the contest, etc. Such a nice guy. Before we left, we took a picture with Chris and then were on our way to grab lunch.

Going back to the set where Kristen and Sam were filming was a bit nerve wracking. It was as we entered the stage area that I finally got to introduce myself to HBG.

Here’s how that went:
Me: Hi, I’m Lynsey. I’m one of the girls from your Facebook page. [Shakes his hand]
HBG: Hi. [Something registers in his eyes...he knows!]

Moments later…
Me: Did you go to the University of Kentucky? [Pointing at his UK hat]
HBG: No, I just like the hat. [Eyeing me curiously] Don’t go investigating me!
Me: Oh, no! I was just wondering. [Eyes wide as saucers. Probably blushing.]

A few moments later still…
HBG: [To me] So how did this all come about?
Me: The Facebook page?
HBG: No, the contest. [Grinning at me like I’m crazy]
Me: Oh! [There goes that blushing thing again]

FAN ENCOUNTER (SPOILER ALERT): FAN MEETS AN EXTRA

Just an innocent day at work led to a nice encounter with an extra from SWATH.  @HauntedTwilight tweeted her fan encounter with the extra.  It was a really nice meeting. 

WARNING:  There may be spoilers so read at your own risk!

"THE EXTRA FROM SWATH CAME IN THE SHOP AGAIN! EEEE!! tell u all bout what he said in a bit when I get time2 I'm at work he spoke about scenes"

"INFO FROM EXTRA MAN (mentions kstew and certain scenes don't read the following unless u don't mind spoilers, there aren't too many tho)"

"I'll try an get all this out in one go but I'm at work so sorry if It takes a few mins..."

"Extra man came in again, and he still makes me nervous lol! I followed him around the shop for a bit and then ambled my way over and asked"

"SOOO you finally finished swath! And he said, yeah I was there for about 8/9 days in total. So I decided to ask him about kstew cause I"

"I said so what did you think about kristen Stewart in the end? He said "yeah she was nice, people told me she was really moody but she"

"Seemed alright, she said hello and that so she seemed nice, I spoke to her a few times just general stuff and she seemed friendly"

"I said so what was the beach like when you were shooting, and he said it was great, he is one of the knights riding behind kristen, and he"

"Had a couple of scenes with bob H[oskins] which will definitely be in the film, one scene with Sam claflin also, but that one he wasn't sure if it"

"Would make the film. So I said "when we watch the film then where should i look for you" (spoilers) he said in the scene snow white dies"

Not too much of a spoiler since that is seen in the trailer and also in the original fairy tale.

"And gets brought back to life, he is standing behind her afterwards when she's alive again then at the castle in the fight scene at the end"

"He is riding along the beach with her an then also plays one of the dark knights that rides out of the castle, he said we will see him a few"

"Times and the next film he is shooting is called rush, about a racing car driver in the 70s that crashes and he plays one of the drivers"

"That's all! Then he asked me where the 10p sweets were and left, he said we will love the film as well that's all folks!"

DAY 3: THE MARLOES

Again, another great day at the Marloes Sands with pictures from @HerdingClouds and others.  Finally, Chris Hemsworth can be seen and the tweets from fans were quite happy.  But fans were not the only ones happy, it is clear that gossip and news sites like E!, PopSugar and Wales Online are excited about seeing the production as well.  You can see their photos here, here & here.  Also you can see a video here.  Clevver TV shows their enthusiasm as well as seen in their video below.

Look out for more pictures as fans have access to the Marloes Sands due to regualations.  It is understood that Universal would like to keep production under seal as much as possible but you cannot buy the publicity these pictures have provided even with entertainment news sites like Access Hollywood who are giddy reporting about it.

1st Units camp was down on the beach today. A lot of the crew making the most of the "summer". Interviews here.

Here you can get an idea of the quantity of horses and vehicles that move around the beach!

Here you can see the special effects in place before the charge! Must be a ton of sand covering each air cannon.

The horses were kept well watered in today's conditions. Never seen such patient animals before in my life!

Just because you can never have too many explosions!! :o)

And credit should go to the dumper-drivers, constantly shuttling sand along the beach for the air cannons



The quiet before the storm! Huge amount of crew in place, hidden behind rocks to keep out of shot.



This is the vehicle taking the majority of the shots. The guys seem to love the open beach!!!

Although one rider was flung from his saddle. After immediate treatment he left the location by quad.

The start of the charge. The boom from the air cannons echoed around the bay. The horses didn't flinch at all.

Wide angle of the island where the castle will stand in the movie. On days like this I feel lucky to live here!

With the cross-shore wind we have today, it was definitely a good day for the flags and pennants!

DAY 3 BEGINS AT THE MARLOES: NEWS UPDATES

Yesterday at the Marloes Sands, fans finally got a chance to see Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth (from behind) on set.

Local news papers in the Wales area have written about yesterday's events.  The Western Telegraph and Wales Online both have written about Stewart and Hemsworth appearing at the beach.

There were two newsworthy items reported. One is that the production will end there on Friday.  The second is that Kristen Stewart is not staying in the Wales area.  She is being flown in by helicopter daily from London.

ANOTHER  FAN ENCOUNTER WITH AN EXTRA!

With production understandably on lockdown, any encounter with a fan is being sopped up with a sponge by SWATHers. 

Here is another encounter @xJazzix had with an extra who she has encountered before.  Of course he cannot provide any actual filming details but the behind the scenes is just as fulfilling.

"So the extra man came in the shop again today and like last time i managed to get in a couple of questions before he left. he didnt say too much about the filming he did with sam but he did say he had "done a lot of night shoots" and that the fight scenes were awesome. i had quite a few people in so our convo was quite broken but he did stick around for a few mins to chat. he only lives round the corner from me..

I asked if he had met kstew and he said he still hasnt met her but he did see her again (i think he said last week) and she was there only for a little while (something to do with costume) he was there for something different so the two sections of people didnt mix much...

he had taken a photo of (i think he said the extras room) sign on the door to show his wife and i asked him to bluetooth it to me lol as you do!

and so i will upload that for you in a min. it doesnt say much just a sign saying where to go but still glad i have it lol! he said he was having a cig with a group of extras round the back of the (i think main car park or lot?) and kristen was there going for a cig, but she was with a couple of make up people (not sure when this was like i say i think a week or so ago) and she left to use the phone and went back to the main (building or room) ((he said "place")) and was laughing on the phone to someone, he said "ten bets its that fella" but of course ovvo ["obviously"] he would have no way of knowing so he was probably joking.

anyway so i let him go after that cause his mate was picking him up outside and he said if he gets any more info he will tell me and i had a laugh with him and said im a stalker of the film lol!

thats about it not too much info! oh and he said they were filming in the rain a lot so he hopes next time itll be sunny and we had a good old moan about the english summertime lol! as you do!  

oh and with regards to the pic, it was tacked up on the fence apparently to show then which way to go in x."
