On May 28, 2011, this site went online to support the Universal Pictures film Snow White and the Huntsman which is known by fans as "SWATH". 

The film's box office success spawned the sequel/prequel The Huntsman: Winter's War [sans Stewart].

Since SWATH's release, we have seen the cast and crew continue to prosper with various projects which they starred, wrote, produced and even directed. From blockbuster films to critically acclaimed television shows, they have shown a range of talent second to none.

CHARLIZE THERON TO JOIN UNIVERSAL'S 'FAST & FURIOUS' FRANCHISE AS NEXT VILLAIN??

Charlize Theron is reported to be in talks to join the successful Universal Pictures Fast and Furious franchise as a villain, according to Variety.

Universal reportedly made an offer and are "eager" to add her to the ensemble cast of 'Fast 8.'

Theron is known for her villanous rolls as the evil queen in Snow White and the Huntsman and reprised her role in the upcoming The Huntsman: Winter's War as well as in her Oscar-winning roll in Monster.

"This isn’t the first big star to join the “Fast and Furious” cast mid-series. Dwayne Johnson joined the cast in “Fast Five” — Universal likely hopes to mirror that move with Theron’s casting, adding a fresh face for not only “Fast 8,” but for the remaining installments."

Variety reports that Theron is currently filming The Coldest City which also stars SWATH's Eddie Marsan.

Fast & Furious 8 is set to go into production April 17, 2017, according to Variety.

DWARFS BACK TOGETHER...IAN MCSHANE JOINS EDDIE MARSAN IN SEASON 3 OF SHOWTIME'S 'RAY DOVAN'

Variety reports Ian McShane will join the cast of the Showtime hit Ray Donovan for the third season as a billionaire producer Malcolm Finney. Finney will "form a very powerful relationship with Ray after hiring him to get his family out of a potential crisis."

McShane reunites with his dwarf mate Eddie Marsan. Marsan plays former boxer Terry Donovan who is stricken with Parkinson's Disease and is the brother of Ray (Liev Schrieber) .

Variety also noted that Mschane will be reuniting with his former 'Deadwood' co-star Paula Malcomson who is Schreiber's "on-screen wife."

Ray Donovan begins filming in Los Angeles on January 26th.

EDDIE MARSAN WINS ANOTHER BEST ACTOR AWARD FOR 'STILL LIFE' AT THE RUSSIAN VOICES FILM FESTIVAL

Eddie Marsan has won another Best Actor award for his role in 'Still Life' at the 5th Edition of the Voices Film Festival. 'Still Life' also won the Grand Prix and Best Film awards as well. It has been only two weeks since Marsan won the same award at the Edinburgh Film Festival.

Voices is a Russian showcase for young European independent filmmakers.

"Jury president Svetlana Proskurina said that the decision for the Grand Prix had been “absolutely unanimous”, while VOICES art director Korinna Danielou recalled that having Still Life at the festival had been “a dream come true” for her," according to Screen Daily.

Could this be a hint of things to come for this upcoming award season? Let's hope so. Congrats again to Eddie Marsan for a another win.

EDDIE MARSAN WINS BEST ACTOR AT 2014 EDINBURGH FILM FESTIVAL FOR 'STILL LIFE'

Eddie Marsan's 'Still Life' (2013) continues to receive critical acclaim with him recently winning Best Performance in a British Feature Film at the 2014 Edinburgh Film Festival.

Directed and produced by Uberto Pasolini (Bel Ami, The Full Monty), 'Still Life' has received several nominations and awards including Best Film, Best Director, Pasinetti Critics’ Prize and Cineuropa at the 2013 Venice Film Festival; Best Film at the 2013 Reykjavik and Edinburgh Film Festivals.

"In this poignant and inspirational drama," Marsan plays John May, "a quiet optimistic an selfless man who finds joy in helping everyone but himself." May is a case worker who searches for the relatives of those who are found dead and alone. 

'Still Life' is scheduled to be screened at the Traverse City Film Festival in Michigan on July 30th. For more information, go the their website here.

NEW SEASON 2 CAST PHOTO OF EDDIE MARSAN IN 'RAY DONOVAN'

New promotional photos have been released of Eddie Marsan and the Season 2 cast of the critically acclaimed Showtime drama series 'Ray Donovan'.

Marsan plays a shy former boxer named Terry Donovan who is stricken with Parkinson's disease. Terry appears to be the only level-headed brother (as compared to the others) in the dysfunctional Donovan family headed by the ring-leader Mickey Donovan played by Jon Voight. Voight won a Golden Globe for his role. 

Last season, Terry was shown to be loyal and protective of his family. The season ended with Terry assisting his brother Bunchy (Dash Mihok) dispose of evidence after he murdered a pedophile priest who had raped him as a child. Terry's actions was at the detriment of his relationship with his girlfriend/nurse Frances (Brooke Smith) who thought he would help save the priest.

It will be interesting to see what direction Marsan's character will take this upcoming season.  Check out Marsan and his fellow castemates in the video below talk about what to look out for in its sophmore season.

EDDIE MARSAN IIN TRAILER WITH THE LATE PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN IN 'GOD'S POCKET'

IFC Films released the first trailer for one of the last films made by the late Philp Seymour Hoffman. 

God's Pocket, which features SWATH's Eddie Marsan, stars John Turturro (O Brother Where Art Thou), Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), and Richard Jenkins (Jack Reacher).

Marsan tweeted his pride but sadness in sharing scenes with Hoffman.

God's Pocket is set to be released May 9th. 

Synopsis: In the gritty, blue-collar neighborhood of "God's Pocket," Mickey Scarpato's crazy stepson, Leon, is killed in a construction "accident," and Mickey quickly tries to bury the bad news with the body. But when a local columnist comes sniffing around for the truth, things go from bad to worse. Mickey finds himself stuck in a life-and-death struggle compounded by a body he can't bury, a wife he can't please, and a debt he can't pay.

EDDIE MARSAN'S 'RAY DONVAN SEASON 2' PREMIERE DATE RELEASED

SWATH's Eddie Marsan will be returning as Terry Donovan when Showtime's 'Ray Donovan' premieres for its second season July 13th. 

In its sophmore year, fans can look forward to seeing if Terry will return back to his lady love played by Brooke Smith (The Silence of the Lambs) seen above; and how he deals with his family's issues which include his brothers Ray (Liev Schreiber), Bunchy (Dash Mihok) and Daryll (Pooch Hall) along with his outrageous father played by Jon Voight who won a Golden Globe for his role as Mickey Donovan.

Fans cannot wait to see what this season has in store. So tune in Sunday, July 13 at 9pm ET on Showtime.

EDDIE MARSAN & SAM CLAFLIN TRIBUTE PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN: 'THE EAST COAST ACTOR WITH BRITISH DISCIPLINE'

The world lost a great actor on Sunday. Philip Seymour Hoffman died at the age of 46 in his apartment in New York City of a drug overdose, according to police.

SWATH's Eddie Marsan and Sam Claflin have recently worked with Hoffman.  Both have commented about Hoffman's loss.

EDDIE MARSAN'S SUNDANCE FILM 'GOD'S POCKET' USES 'MAD MEN' CONNECTIONS TO SELL

In spite of reported low distribution sales at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, God's Pocket co-written and directed by AMC's Mad Men star John Slattery and starring SWATH's Eddie Marsan, was one of the few films to receive a distributor. 

IFC secured the US distribution rights for the first-time director Slattery which keeps the project within the corporate family, according to Indiewire

"Slattery said, 'I'm thrilled to be working creatively with IFC, and very happy to continue my ongoing and successful relationship with AMC. We're very proud of this film and excited to partner with IFC Films to bring it to a wide audience.'" 

 "John Slattery has made a remarkable debut here as a director, proving that he is as talented behind the camera as he is in front of it," said Sundance Selects/IFC Films President Jonathan Sehring. "On behalf of IFC Films and AMC Networks, we are really proud to be releasing this tremendous film, and to get the chance to work with John, the producers and this terrific cast."

God's Pocket also stars Philip Seymour Hoffman (Catching Fire), John Turturro (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) and Mad Men's Christina Hendricks.

Although the film received luke-warm reviews with the stellar cast (see below), it just goes to show that sometimes it's good to have friends in high places.

EDDIE MARSAN TO STAR IN NEW BBC ONE/BBC AMERICA TV DRAMA SERIES

Deadline is reporting that SWATH's Eddie Marsan is set to star in a new BBC One/BBC America television drama series called Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.

"Based on the bestselling novel by Susanna Clarke, the seven-part series has been adapted by Wallander‘s Peter Harness. It’s an alternate history of England set during the Napoleonic Wars when reclusive Mr Norrell (Marsan) is persuaded to help the government with his magical prowess. At the same time, the charming and wealthy Strange (Carvel) learns he too is destined to be a great magician. The story centers on the relationship between the two men.."

Deadline reports that there is no scheduled airdate, however the it will be featured "as part of BBC America’s Supernatural Saturday."

Marsan will be reprising his role as the ex-boxer Terry Donovan who is battling Parkinson's disease on the successful Showtime drama series Ray Donovan which is returning for its second season.  

Filming is set to begin in 2014.

EDDIE MARSAN ATTENDS 'FILTH' PREMIIERE - RELEASES IN THE UK

Filth stars Marsan, James McAvoy, Imogen Poots, Jamie Bell and Jim Broadbent.  Filmed in Scotland, Filth is about a corrupt cop (McAvoy) who "will stop at nothing to get what he wants.  He turns his colleagues against one another by stealing their wives and exposing their secrets....[while he] starts to lose himself in a web of deceit that he can no longer control."

Filth is currently opened in Scotland and will open in the UK and Ireland on October 4th.  No North American release dates indicated to date.

NICK FROST HAVING A LAST CALL PROMOTING 'THE WORLD'S END' IN THE US (VIDEO, PHOTOS & TWEETS)

Somewhere in the City of Brotherly Love, Nick Frost, Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright were taking it over as they promoted The World's End during their Last Call Tour on Wednesday. 

The Last Call Tour has the trio traveling across the United States for the screening of the last film in the Cornetto trilogy while meeting fans along the way.  So far the tour has brought them to the cities of Dallas, Austin, Boston and Washington, DC.  (See where the tour goes next below).

Taking the time to make the rounds with the local media and fan events, Frost, Pegg and Wright got to experience some of the Philly scene during the visit.

Marsan and Frost joined fellow cast members along with director Edgar Wright to celebrate the last film of the what is considered to be a pseudo trilogy to included Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

EDDIE MARSAN ATTENDS THE 'RAY DONOVAN' PREMIERE

Eddie Marsan stepped out Tuesday night celebrating at the premiere of his new Showtime drama series Ray Donavan in Los Angeles.

Liev Schreiber stars in this heavy-hitting drama as a "high-powered fixer" of "everything but his personal life."  

Sounds like Olivia Pope has some competition (Scandal fans will get the reference). 

Marsan stars as his ex-boxer brother "who still manages a gym while suffering from the early stages of Parkinson’s thanks to all those blows to the head."
