SAM CLAFLIN KEEPS SHIRT ON BUT STILL WINS WITH HUNGER GAMES CAST AT THE MTV MOVIE AWARDS

Sam Claflin attended the 2014 MTV Movie Awards Sunday night at the Nokia Theater LA Live in Los Angeles, California to accept the award for Movie of the Year for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Claflin plays the notorious self-absorbed lady's man and youngest victor champion to win the games, Finnick Odair.   

Claflin joined with co-star Josh Hutcherson (who also won a popcorn statuette earlier in the evening for Best Male Performance for the film) were both presented with the award by actor/presenter Johnny Depp.

Who to vote for....who to vote for? How are SWATH fans going to choose?

Sam Claflin and Chris Hemsworth have been nominated for an MTV Movie Award for Best Shirtless Performance.

MTV released the nominees for their 2014 MTV Movie Awards show.  Categories like this survived the show's overahaul where the films and actors nominated used to be based on fan favorite films.  Now the nominees are taking a page from the Oscars in order to try to give the show some kind of legitimatcy as a psuedo Oscar show. 

The SWATH mates do get to go head-to-head in one of MTV's fan favorite categories.  

Hemsworth is also received a nomination for Thor: The Dark World as Best Hero and Claflin for Best Fight.

SNOW WHITE BECOMES A CASUALTY OF TWILIGHT/STEWART FANS'

The outcome was inevitable and predicted but we gave it a good fight even with the nefariousness in the voting included (coming up in a later article). Kristen Stewart's fans, in particular her Twilight fans, were having none of it when it came to her winning a Golden Popcorn at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

Twilight fansites led by Twilight Poison initiated a social media protest  due to the lack of nominations, in particular Best Kiss, which Stewart and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 received. 

The protest was extended to include not voting for Stewart's Snow White in order to not provide Stewart a reason to have any part of the show.  

Unfortunately for SWATH but lucky for Bilbo, Stewart's Twilight fans won.  HitFix gives kudos to the Twilight fans as one of their "Best" in their 'Best and Worst of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards'.

"They [Twilight fans] protested the social networking vote for Best Hero, too, which probably would have gone to Kristen Stewart's Snow White from "Snow White and the Huntsman" in a landslide but instead went to Bilbo Baggins from "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Rock on, Twihards. You are freakin' SERIOUS." 

The fans were told not to watch MTV but to participate in a worldwide viewing party of Breaking Dawn 2 exactly at 9pm EST or when it aired in their own time zone. Fans were also asked to tweet about the film and their memories of the 'Nokia Tent City' premiere experience using the hashtag #BreakingDawnPart2Night in order to trend on Twitter over MTV.  The cast was also asked to join with the fans.

Twilight fans won, again, as the hashtag topped both MTV and host Rebel Wilson on Twitter all night trending their hashtag #BreakingDawnPart2Night.

Stewart also won the night (in a sense) when the winners for the Best Kiss award were announced, an instant worldwide trend under the fan nickname 'Robsten' (which is short for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart)  hit big stating, "Robsten Is The Best Kiss."

Chris Hemsworth's The Avengers took home the big prize including Movie of the Year, Best Fight and Best Villain. 

Sam Claflin's upcoming Hunger Games film, Catching Fire, premiered its first trailer. However, he was not in it.  We are pretty sure he will be seen soon.

TO THE FANS OF SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN: DECISION REGARDING MTV BEST HERO AWARD & VOTING

To All Loyal & Dedicated SWATH fans:

Almost two weeks ago, MTV nominated Snow White, played by Kristen Stewart, for their Best Hero Award. It was an honor to have one of our characters nominated for an awards show that features top A-list talent in the film and music industry.  It was the only award SWATH had been nominated for and we were excited for the nomination.

I have worked diligently having fun with fans on Twitter gathering votes for Snow White believing that votes would be appropriately accounted for according to the rules set forth by MTV which state, "Every hashtag counts as one vote."  

SWATH cast members as well as producer Palak Patel have cast votes on Twitter and have encouraged others to do so.  Unfortunately, it was brought to my attention (see tweets below) that fans' Twitter accounts were being flagged to be reported as spam for following MTV's rules which state, "every hashtag [#votesnowwhite] counts as one vote."  

This type of voting is not considered "spam" as defined by Twitter.  The hashtags were not being used to "post multiple unrelated topics" or for the reasons defined as "spam." Therefore, reporting these fans for voting pursuant to MTV's rule is a form of harassment and is unacceptable as I see it.  If there are any other problems with the accounts, then the process for reporting the particular problem should be adhered to according to Twitter's standards.

Fans of the affected accounts have continued to ask if their votes "will be counted?"  This cannot be ascertained, unfortunately.  It is unknown if these fans have not been harmed (if their votes have been counted or if they continue to use their accounts, that they will be counted).  

The voting process cannot include supposition and innuendo by others in order to circumvent votes as all people deserve due process.  

With that said, I will no longer ask or encourage fans to participate in this MTV voting process for Best Hero and report the voting tallies because it is unknown if the reported accounts are having their votes counted or if other fan accounts are/have been effected. 

However, you may continue to participate to secure the win for Snow White. This fansite will continue to support Snow White via Twitter utilizing the hashtag because she is a nominee representing SWATH.

I thank you all for your passion and support of Snow White.  It is my hopes that you continue to vote and bring it home for her because she truly is the Best Hero of them all.

Snow White started out in a tough fight with Iron Man, now it is with Bilbo Baggins. It's been a cat and mouse fight between the two for the past few days.  With one week to go, hopefully she will pull it out. Here's how you can vote:

1. Go to MTV and click on the Twitter icon on Snow White's picture and cast as many votes as you want, or

2. Hashtag all of your tweets with #votesnowwhite, or

3. Hashtag a photo of Snow White or Kristen with #votesnowwhite.  Make it a photo with you with Kristen, you in a Snow White or SWATH costume etc... and make it creative. Stand out so MTV will post the photo. 

So go vote and keep voting as much as you can. The MTV Movie Awards will air next Sunday at 9pm EST on MTV.

MTV just added the Best Hero category to their 2013 Movie Awards which Kristen Stewart's Snow White has been nominated.  Snow White is up against the Iron Man and Hulk from The Avengers, Batman and Catwoman of the The Dark Knight Rises and Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Snow White is up against the toughest heroes of last summers' blockbuster season.  As of today, she has a strong lead but we have to keep it going. 

How to vote:

Include in every tweet on Twitter or caption written on Instagram the hashtag "#votesnowwhite" to count as a vote.  The more you hashtag the more votes Snow White receives. Or, just click on the tweet on Snow White's photo and cast your vote.

MTV also wants fans to dress up in their favorite costumes and send it to them via instagram and include the hashtag.  The best costumes will be displayed on the Best Hero page here and during the Movie Awards.

Keep track of the vote count on the Best Hero page and don't forget to add #votesnowwhite to your tweets and instagrams!

The MTV Movie Awards will air live this Sunday, April 14 at 9pm Eastern/8pm Central.

KRISTEN STEWART WINS AT THE MTV MOVIE AWARDS!

Kristen Stewart has won the golden popcorn in both categories she was nominated for the MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles tonight.  Stewart also presented Best Female Performance alongside SWATH's Chris Hemsworth.  Charlize Theron also presented but with her Prometheus co-star Michael Fassbender. 


Although Twilight fans were a bit perturbed regarding the lack of nominations, it is clear that Twilight may have won more than the nominations tendered. 


Stewart won for Best Kiss along with Robert Pattinson who was unable to attend due to the promotion of his film 'Cosmopolis'. 


Stewart also won along with her castmates for 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1."   Stewart was reunited with her 'Panic Room' co-star and Academy Award-winner Jodie Foster, as she presented the award for Movie of the Year.  


In Stewart's acceptance speech, she took issue with being asked during the SWATH promotion tour if she was happy to distance herself away from "Twilight" [franchise] and she just said for them to "Shut up! What are you talking about?!"  


Stewart has always expressed being proud of her work in the Twilight franchise.  This should leave no doubt about how she feels.


She continued, "This really means a lot [the award]...and I know that we've been here for a while so really, thank you," then she proceeded to high-five Twilight Producer Wycke Godfrey.


Earlier, Stewart presented the Best Female Performance award alongside SWATH's on Chris Hemsworth. Then accepted her Best Kiss Award solo and proceeded to pretend to kiss herself after asking and not receiving help for kissing assistance from Hemsworth, Theron and her Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner.  And finally, she accepted the Movie of the Year with her castmates and producer. 


Charlize Theron presented the Best Fight award with her 'Prometheus' co-star Michael Fassbender.   In a delightfully funny skit, Fassbender put down females as being soft and non-fighters and Theron proceeded to beat him to the floor. 


It was a good night for Stewart and SWATH representation.  Congrats Kristen!

SWATH CAST IN MTV MOVIE AWARDS COMMERCIAL

In this 2012 MTV Movie Awards commercial, it features Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron who will appear on the show.  However, Charlize is seen in her 'Prometheus' costume and not as the queen.


The 2012 MTV Movie Awards will premiere on Sunday, June 3rd.

UNIVERSAL'S 'BRIDESMAIDS' & KRISTEN STEWART ARE NOMINATED FOR MTV MOVIE AWARDS

The MTV Movie Awards nominations were released late yesterday evening and Kristen Stewart's 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1' received two.

Kristen and Robert Pattinson were nominated for Best Kiss and 'Breaking Dawn Part 1' was nominated for Movie of the Year.

Universal's 'Bridesmaids' tied 'The Hunger Games' with 8 nominations each.  See the full list of nominations below.

These nominations sparked a bit of a controversy with Twilight fans who took to Twitter to express their outrage for the lack of nominations, making "#MTVWEHATEYOU" instantly trend world-wide.

OUR 'LIL SNOW WHITE MAKES ANOTHER SPLASH

Stewart's appearance at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards made a splash.  The safety pinned and beaded Balmain dress was definitely unique and the talk of the red carpet. 

However, Joan River's 'E!'s Fashion Police' applies her own spin on Stewart's fashion.  Joan turns it into a "Twilight vs. Harry Potter" smackdown which Twilight won...again.  See here in the video below:

KRISTEN GIVES A CHEST BUMP?

Kristen, who is known to be shy, doesn't hesitate to show her playful side around friends. MTV provides a list of the "Top 5 Moments" we didn't see on air during the MTV Movie Awards last Sunday. One of the top moments is of Kristen chest bumping her Breaking Dawn co-star Taylor Lautner. Chest bumping?

MTV reports that the two friends greeted each other backstage with a "chest bump" followed up with a "friendly hug". Aw.

We can understand why Universal had their eyes set on her for this 'kick ass' version of Snow White.  Kristen can be girly or tough when warranted.  Snow White will never be looked at in the same way again...and fans love it.

KRISTEN'S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH IS TOPS WITH 'PEOPLE'

People Magazine lists Kristen Stewarts acceptance speech as Best Female Performance at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards as one of its "top Twilight moments".

With an apology to, Oscar winner Natalie Portman, Kristen gave a "wink" on winning the coveted popcorn:

"I had a great time doing the movie with everyone that worked on it," she said, adding a shout-out to Natalie Portman, who won an Oscar for her leading role in Black Swan. "Natalie, sorry, but the popcorn is mine."
