Lionsgate released a teaser trailer for 'Mockingjay Part 2' which is the final installment of the Hunger Games trilogy.

Sam Claflin is featured as Finnick Odair who appears to be wedded now. He also says the final line in the trailer: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 76th Hunger Games." 

Check out what appears to be the build up to the final confrontation with President Snow and the Capitol. 

'Mockingjay Part 2' arrives in theaters November 20th.

SAM CLAFLIN CHARMS FANS AT THE UK 'HUNGER GAMES: MOCKING JAY PT 1' WORLD PREMIERE (Interviews/Videos/Photos)

The signature dimples were in full display as Sam Claflin walked the red carpet of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' at the UK World Premiere at Leicester Square in London. 

Claflin joined his fellow castmates Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci,  and more as they greeted the raucous fans.

In the final video, Claflin mentions the casting of Julianne Moore who is currently being mentioned as a strong contender for an Oscar nomination for her role in 'Still Alice' where she stars with Kristen Stewart.

SAM CLAFLIN SEEN IN NEW STILL FOR 'MOCKING JAY PART 1'

Lionsgate has released a new still image of Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair for the upcoming Hunger Games sequel Mockingjay Part 1. 

In this edition, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) sets off as the mockingjay to save her friend Peta (Josh Hutcherson). 

Mockingjay Part 1 hits theaters November 21st.

SAM CLAFLIN STAYS HUMBLE - TELLS VANITY FAIR 'HUNGER GAMES' HASN'T CHANGED HIS LIFE

In a Vanity Fair interview for the promotion of his film The Riot Club, Sam Claflin shows a humble side stating that being a part of the Hunger Games franchise has not changed his life at all. 

"Nothing has changed. I'm exactly the same person. Everything's exactly the same."

The only thing that has changed is that Finnick Odair physique. 

At the film's premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, Claflin recently told E!'s Mark Malkin that he has been on a bit of a diet break since filming the Hunger Games.

"I'm on a little bit of a break, a little downtime." 

"I'm enjoying myself, everything that I've missed over the two and a half years nearly. I'm kind of catching up. Lots of friends, family and drinks to be ordered."

That's okay Sam, we have you on DVD to forever enjoy Finnick in all his glory.

SAM CLAFLIN APPEARS IN NEW 'MOCKING JAY PART 1' TRAILER

Although brief, we did get a glimpse of Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair in the new trailer for the Hunger Games sequel 'Mocking Jay Part 1'.

Not much context is show regarding the storyline which is mainly about saving Peta.

The film also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman and Donald Sutherland.

KRISTEN STEWART'S 'CAMP X-RAY' & 'SILS MARIA' BATTLE IN MTV'S MOVIE BRAWL OF 2014

MTV is back at it again this year pitting movies against movies to determine what film fans are looking forward to seeing this year. 

MTV's Movie Brawl 2014 voting has begun and Kristen Stewart has two films in the contending contest. 

Stewart's Camp X-Ray and Sils Maria are on opposite sides of the battle map but are up against stiff competition.

Entertainment Weekly released the first photos of Sam Claflin as the athletically handsome Finnick Odair in the Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire. Sam is definitely looking the part.

Sam will be featured in this weeks EW which includes an interview while he was on set in Hawaii.  The EW cover below features Sam with lead actress Jennifer Lawrence who plays Katniss Everdeen.  We have to say, EW may have tried to place her in the foreground but she may as well be a prop in this photo because Sam is stealing the show.

EW writes:

"EW also sat down with Sam Claflin, the green-eyed, dimpled Brit who won the role of District 4′s charming and enigmatic golden boy Finnick Odair, for his first Hunger Games interview. He described filming the infamous sugar cube scene, in which Finnick teases Katniss while wearing nothing beyond some strategically placed netting, as "the scariest moment of my life. I’m on Twitter and so many people have been like 'Don’t mess this up, or we will kill you.'" 

It is pretty safe to say those who told Sam they would cause him bodily harm if he "messed this up" were not SWATH fans.

Forbes is coming out with their annual list of the "young disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs" of 2012 coming up with the "brightest stars under the age of 30" who are on their way up. SWATH's Sam Claflin makes the list this year as one of the young entertainers whose career is about to take off particularly after landing the most coveted role in the next Hunger Games movie Catching Fire as Finnick Odair.

SWATH COMPOSER TO SCORE 
'CATCHING FIRE' & 'MALEFICENT'

SWATH composer James Newton-Howard will be composing scores for two of Hollywood's biggest films coming up the next two years.  Howard is not the only SWATH connection with the films either. 

Howard will score Disney's 'Maleficent' which is produced by SWATH producer Joe Roth, stars Angelina Jolie opens on March 14, 2014 as an IMAX 3D film.  'Maleficent' is currently being filmed in the UK. 

The Hunger Games next film 'Catching Fire' will also be scored by Howard.  'Catching Fire' is currently being filmed in Georgia (US) and will star SWATH's Sam 'Prince William' Claflin as Finnick Odair which is one of the franchise's most coveted roles.  'Catching Fire' opens November 22, 2013.

SAM CLAFLIN NAMED BIGGEST BLOWOUT STAR OF 2013

Looks like the band wagon is getting a little full.  Sam is about to meet the media like he hasn't met them before now that he scored the most coveted role in The Hunger Games franchise.  Dirt.com has now named Sam the "Biggest Blowout Star of 2013."

"Sam Claflin, one of Hollywood’s hottest up-and-coming superstars, has landed the coveted role in the upcoming film Catching Fire, the second Hunger Games movie, which begins shooting this year for a late 2013 release."

"Sam is a dream. And when he takes his shirt off, he will make people faint. He is the biggest big thing to happen to Hollywood in 20 years."

Well, Sam showed a little skin in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides as well a couple other roles but we'll keep that secret to ourselves and let Dirt.com wait until next year. 

SWATH's Prince/bowman is already a blowout star but if Dirt.com is finally getting on board, the more the merrier.

A FAMILY AFFAIR: SAM CLAFLIN SHARES STAGE WITH BROTHER JOE

SWATH's Sam Claflin has a lot to be proud of these days.   Coming off of this summer's blockbuster hit SWATH as well as the critically acclaimed BBC television series White Heat and landing what is considered the most coveted role in The Hunger Games franchise as Finnick Odair, he is now a proud sibling of a fellow actor who will add to the Claflin family stardom.

Sam's (26) younger brother Joe Claflin (23) who recently graduated from his brother's alma mater, the London Academy of Dramatic Art, has reportedly landed a role in the television series Da Vinci’s Demons.

“It’s a very, very small part, but in a brilliant production with some big, very talented actors,” he tells the Norwhich Evening News.

Joe realizes that the acting business is very competitive but has to find a way to distinguish himself from other actors.

"I’m very excited … also very nervous. It’s such a competitive business … I’ve been to a couple of auditions now where I’ve walked in to see a few clones waiting outside, and I think 'What’s going to separate me from these guys?'"

Of course he was asked the inevitable question about competing against his successful brother Sam.  However, Joe reveals there is no competition.  It's all about love.

"I get asked a lot: ‘Do you find it annoying that your brother is doing so well?’ “But at the end of the day why would I? I support and follow him with unbelievable love and interest."

If anyone follows the Claflin Clan on Twitter, you would know this to be true.

Joe says he hopes to work with his brother in the future and we are certainly looking forward to a Claflin brother hook up.

"CATCHING FIRE"

Well the wait is over...contracts are signed and now it's official, SWATH's Sam Claflin has scored the most coveted role in The Hunger Games franchise outside of Katniss...he's now 'Finnick Odair' in the next installment called Catching Fire.

Deadline reports that there was a nitch with a commitment to another studio.  Once that cleared, he had the role.  Always listed as the favorite, the others in line for the role were Ben Walker, Boyd Holbrook and Tyler Hoechlin, according to Deadline.

Entertainment Weekly describes Odair: "Along with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), the 24-year-old Finnick is among the previous champions forced to return to the arena for the 75th annual Hunger Games, also known as the Quarter Quell. Katniss is initially wary of him — in Suzanne Collins’ bestseller, when they first meet, Finnick is wearing nothing but a fishing net with some strategically placed knots. But along with his former mentor Mags (Lynn Cohen), Finnick proves to be a powerful ally once they get to the arena."

Still no "official word" however, IMDb has SWATH's Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair.  When Lionsgate will make this official, if it is, is anyone's guess.


But let's just say it's another, maybe...

GOSSIP COP REPORTS: SAM IS 'FINNICK'

Yes! Finally, confirmation?  


Gossip Cop has reported that Sam Claflin a.k.a. Prince William is now 'Finnick Odair' in the next Hunger Games film named Catching Fire.


Gossip Cop reports that the studio Lionsgate will be announcing it soon.  How long is "soon"?  We do not know.  An official confirmation (Lionsgate press release) will make us breathe a sigh of relief.  


Gossip Cop is one of the more reliable sources in the entertainment blogosphere.  If they have this wrong it would be embarrassing for them. 


This is a HUGE get for our prince.  He has definitely been on a streak with film roles in blockbuster movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and SWATH.  Now the next big franchise of The Hunger Games. 


So congrats to our Prince William, well done lad, well done!

SAM CLAFLIN IS RUMORED TO BE 'FINNICK ODAIR' IN "CATCHING FIRE"!

Sam Claflin began trending worldwide when a rumor hit on Twitter that he was 'Finnick Odair' of the next chapter of The Hunger Games named Catching Fire.


Finnick is the hottest highly anticipated role in Hollywood.  Several names have been connected to the role from Twilight's Robert Pattinson to On the Road's Garrett Hedlund both of whom have starred with SWATH's Kristen Stewart.  


But Stewart is about to have another connection if the rumors hold true (which we believe it is based upon a source) where her prince will be seen in the next blockbuster hit.  


Sam is on a streak right now in his young big screen career where he first was seen in the blockbuster hit Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides leading him to get the role in SWATH as Prince William and now this. 


Everyone i.e. MTV is anticipating an announcement soon.  Zap2It reported that it is all about Sam accepting the role which means going over the contract since Finnick is in the next film Mockingjay as well.
