UPDATE #2:

TMZ reports ABC News erroneously reported that director Tony Scott had brain cancer.  TMZ learned that Scott's wife told investigators that the report was "absolutely false".  The autopsy was completed today.

Deadline reported that it will take 4 to 8 weeks for the toxicological results to come back.

UPDATE #1:

ABC News has reported that "a source close to him [Scott]" stated that he had "inoperable brain cancer."

Sadly, British Director Tony Scott, 68, took his life Sunday around 12:30pm from an apparent suicide after jumping off of the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles.  CNN is reporting that a "passerby saw Scott jump from the bridge and called 911."

Scott was the executive producer for Kristen Stewart's Welcome to the Rileys which was directed by nephew Jake Scott.  WTTRs starred Academy Award-winner Melissa Leo along with Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner James Gandolfini.

Stewart played 'Allison a.k.a. Mallory' who was a runaway teenager who tries to survive in the seedy streets of New Orleans as a stripper and teen prostitute.  Stewart won a Best Actress Award for her portrayal of 'Mallory' at the Milan Film Festival in 2011 while WTTRs was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize (Drama) at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.

In a span of 30 years in Hollywood,  Scott was famously known for his classic action films Top Gun, Crimson Tide, The Last Boy Scout and Crimson Tide and recently executive produced Prometheus for his eldest brother Ridley Scott.  Scott was the producer of hit television shows The Good Wife and Numb3rs and had a few interesting projects in development.

"Born Anthony D.L. Scott in North Shields, England, in 1944, Tony -- as he was known -- got his start as a teenager in front of the camera, starring in his older brother Ridley Scott's film "Boy and Bicycle." In 1995, the two joined forces to create the production company, Scott Free Productions."

UNIVERSAL RELEASES STATEMENT DENYING STEWART "DROP" STORY

Deadline is reporting that Universal has release a statement which is uncommon for studios to do, in order to refute the claims that Kristen Stewart was "dropped" from the SWATH sequel.

The statement is as follows:

Universal Co-Chairman Donna Langley: “We are extremely proud of Snow White And The Huntsman and we’re currently exploring all options to continue the franchise. Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false.”

Due to Universal issuing this statement, we will continue with the fansite.  So, look out for more news, hopefully good, for SWATH in the future.
