ARE FANS REALLY POISED FOR A BOX OFFICE BATTLE?
There have been several blog outlets comparing and contrasting Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman with Relativity's Mirror, Mirror. These comparisons will be ongoing considering how both films came about.
However, News.com Australia is the first that EB has come across stating that there is some kind of line drawn in the sand by fans loyal to each film.
"The trailers for both films, have hit the net and already YouTube fans are fighting over which one will reign supreme. Sharp loyalties have formed on either side, months before the films have even been released."
"Fans are fighting over which one will reign supreme?" Really? There is an actual battle? No, no, don't think so. The battle may be in the administrative offices of Relativity and Universal but as far as fans are concern as well as other news outlets, it appears that Universal's SWATH won the trailer battle hands down.
However, MTV has asked the question "Which trailer was your favorite? When they are compared side by side, anyone can see that SWATH is more exciting.
Google does not show a plethora of fansites being created for Mirror, Mirror not to mention, with the 'Thor' and 'Twilight' fansites supporting Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart, there really is no competition. But if there is a fan battle, let the battle begin.
