DESIGNER DENNIS BASSO MAKES HIS MARK ON THE QUEEN'S WEAR
This is one designer that is totally familiar to this site's administrator as owner of several of Mr. Basso's coats. Dennis Basso is a New York-based designer who is well-known for his coat designs however, he designs clothes as well. Now Basso has designed coat outerwear for 'The Evil Queen' which will be featured in SWATH.
According to New York Magazine, Basso outfits everyone from Upper Eastside socialites in New York to hip hop artists. His client list includes Sharon Stone, Brooke Shields, Kim Cattrall, Ivana Trump, Eva Longoria and Denise Rich.
Basso was initially known for his fur coats and has had to deal with PETA. However, in 2007 he created a faux fur line which has been extremely successful particularly with his discount line which he sells through the QVC home shopping network.
Fans can view Basso's extremely fun presentations of his clothing line on QVC this December 13th at Midnight-2am, 10-11am and 8-10am EST. Check your local listings for the channel in your area. Or, you can visit QVC's website during his visit and watch his on air items here.
