The British Academy of Film and Television held their film awards ceremony today in London handing out awards that could provide a precursor to the Oscars later this month.
A couple of SWATHERS made red carpet appearances. Chris Hemsworth who was a nominee for the Orange Rising Star and Nick Frost who was there to represent the film 'Tintin'. Unfortunately, Hemsworth lost out to British actor Adam Deacon. Read more about his filmography here.
There were a couple of SWATHER related wins:
Toby Jones' 'Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy' won Outstanding British Film and Best Adapted Screenplay.
Eddie Marsan's 'Tyannosaur' won Outstanding Debut By A British Writer, Director or Producer.
Ray Winstone's 'Rango' won Animated Film and 'Hugo' won Production Design and for Sound.
Paul Lowey's 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2' won for Special Visual Effects.
