FX CABLE BUYS SWATH'S FIRST RUN TV RIGHTS
FX Cable purchases the rights to some of the hottest movies of the summer for their first run on television, according to Deadline.
Snow White and the Huntsman along with Universal's Battleship, Fox's own Prometheus, The Avengers, Madagascar 3 and The Dictator will be seen for the first time on television on Fox's FX cable television channel.
FX has already successfully cornered the rights to air the Star Wars films exclusively and recently aired the ever popular Twilight starring Kristen Stewart.
