She did it! SWATH's costume designer Colleen Atwood won her 4th Oscar Sunday evening at the 89th Academy Awards ceremony held at the Dolby® Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Atwood clearly was surprised as she walked briskly to the stage to accept the golden statute for Best Costume Design. Singer/Song Writer/Oscar nominee Sting predicted she would win.

More after the break

"Sting told me I was going to win tonight but I didn't believe him at all," laughs Atwood.
"I was like...what?!"

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Warner Bros.)

There aren't enough adjectives to describe the immense talent she has with 12 Oscar nominations under her belt along with four wins.

Atwood was nominated for her work in Snow White and the Huntsman in 2013 and more recently for Into the Woods in 2015.  Of course SWATH fans believe she should have won for Snow White and the Huntsman considering the beautiful and intricate work she had done.

However, she finally received her just due yesterday evening even though it took six long years.  Atwood's last win was in 2011 for Alice in Wonderland.

SWATH may have been released a while ago, but fans have been truly proud of her achievements since that time.

So Congrats Colleen!!! It was well deserved. Check out her full Oscar speech below.
