MALAYSIAN SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR PIRACY OF SWATH AND OTHER FILMS

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that a Malaysian man was arrested for alleged piracy of SWATH and other major Hollywood films through the website jiwang.org.

"According to the Malaysian Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism (MDTCC), jiwang.org is one of the most popular sources of pirated content online in Malaysia, and hosts links to popular Hollywood films including, Pitch Perfect, Rise of the Guardians, Snow White and the Huntsman, Prometheus, The Bourne Legacy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Life of Pi, and A Good Day to Die Hard, and others."

THR goes on: "During the arrest at the 35-year-old suspect’s home in the state of Kelantan, officers discovered a secret compartment that could only be accessed via a wardrobe, leading to a room containing sophisticated computer equipment, an LED TV monitor, modem, router and wireless internet connection."

Sounds a little like Bruce Wayne's bookcase hiding the Bat Cave. Hollywood is definitely happy to get this guy off the street.

GEORGE CLOONEY FILM DEAL)

Kristen Stewart has more in common with her SWATH co-star Raffey Cassidy than playing the same character.

Stewart's attorney is considered to be one of the "most influential" entertainment lawyers in the U.S., according to The Hollywood Reporter.

THR released their list of America's Top 100 Attorneys naming litigators, talent and corporate "dealmakers" based on their biggest deals and legal cases as well as "their reputation within the entertainment legal community" of the past year.

Stewart's attorney Joel McKuin (Harvard Law) made the Power List for closing a huge deal involving SWATH's Raffey Cassidy.

Cassidy is set to star alongside George Clooney in Disney's Tomorrowland.  McKuin also closed an eight figure television deal for two other clients.  Read more about McKuin here and review the entire slideshow beginning here.
