Producer Anton Ernst confirmed, via Twitter, that Kristen Stewart is no longer attached to the film 'The Big Shoe'. He sites that Stewart wanted to do the film with Jim Sturgess, however he was unavailable until January. Stewart was unable to wait.
Stewart has two films coming to theaters this fall: 'Camp X-Ray on October 17th and 'Clouds of Sils Maria' on December 1st.
Meanwhile, Sam Claflin is set to star in the new romantic comedy 'Me Before You' with Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, according to Deadline. Claflin beat out a lot of competition of young actors for the male lead.
To be directed by Thea Sharrock, "Me Before You tells the story of Lou, a small-town girl caught between dead-end jobs, and Will, a success all his life who finds himself wheelchair-bound after an accident. He finds no reason to live until they meet when he hires her as his caretaker for six months, and she becomes determined to prove to him life is worth living. They head for a series of adventures together, which changes each of them."

A miracle of high ambition and low budget, Gareth Edwards’ 2010 debut Monsters redefined what was possible for both British sci-fi and indie cinema. Taking his cue from the first film’s subtle layering of human drama over jaw-dropping visual effects, first-time feature director Tom Green has expanded Edwards’ universe to the Middle East where, seven years after the events that first brought an alien infestation of squid-like creatures to the Earth, there are now quarantined Infected Zones, just as there once were in Mexico. As wars continue to break out in the region, American forces, led by jaded veteran Noah (Johnny Harris), find themselves vulnerable on two fronts – fighting these extra-terrestrial invaders while defending themselves from local insurgents in whose land they are seen, ironically, to also be invaders. Mixing social comment with spectacle, Monsters: Dark Continent is a rare sequel that respects its predecessor’s belief in the right combination of realism and wonder. ~~ Damon Wise [BFI]
