'THE WRAP' SAYS IT'S ALL ABOUT THE 'EFFECTS'
The Wrap reports that Universal will be utilizing visual effects to change the actor's dimensions in order to meet the dwarf's characteristics. This would appear to be an obvious call since Ian McShane, who was the first actor to sign on to be a dwarf, is said to be 5-foot-9 in height. McShane is cast to play 'Caesar, The Dwarf Leader'.
Earlier today, it was reported that there are additional dwarfs that are in negotiations to be signed. Bob Hoskins and Eddie Izzard are the names being mentioned.
We are just awaiting confirmation and anticipating the naming of more of the cast. This is an exciting time for fans who cannot wait to hear what is next.
