KRISTEN WINS VIRGIN MEDIA'S "GIRL OF THE YEAR" & MORE
Virgin Media recently announced its award winners and after thousands of votes, Kristen Stewart is their "Girl of the Year". Stewart's 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" won a few awards as well as her co-star Robert Pattinson. One was including a second place finish as the "Worst Actress of the Year" which is just a haters vote because she swept everything else.
Even Virgin Media had to admit with a second place finish by 'Breaking Dawn' for Most Disappointing Movie of the Year, they had to admit, there are haters out here for 'Twilight'.
"Don't forget, Twilight has almost as many haters as it has fans, with Breaking Dawn coming in for a lot of criticism..."
'Breaking Dawn Part 2' came in second losing out to 'The Hunger Games' for the Most Wanted Movie of 2012. By November, we know what movie will rule.
But overall, Stewart and her 'Twilight' cohorts did really well in the poll. Virgin Media writes:
Winner: Kristen Stewart
Second place: Emma Watson | Third place: Mila Kunis
It's a Twilight double! Kristen Stewart endured a ragged year on film: not only did Bella have to endure a bloody vampire birth (even if it was a result of getting jiggy with Edward), but even non-Twilight roles, like her Welcome To The Rileys prostitute, took their toll. Being named Girl Of The Year is her reward, beating Harry Potter alumni Emma Watson to the top spot. Mila Kunis was the friend with benefits you voted into third position.Second place: Emma Watson | Third place: Mila Kunis

'Breaking Dawn' won for Best Family Movie Of The Year:
Winner: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1
Second place: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 | Third place: Tangled
The only category in which Twilight and Harry Potter movies were in direct competition, Best Family Movie Of The Year came down to the wire, but vampires defeated wizards over the distance: congratulations to Team Twilight and commiserations to Harry and friends. Disney's Tangled, a more traditional family movie, finished third, with the likes of Jack Sparrow's Pirates Of The Caribbean nowhere to be seen. Arrrr.Second place: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 | Third place: Tangled
'Breaking Dawn' won for Scene of the Year
Winner: Birth scene, from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn
Second place: Harry vs Voldemort, from Deathly Hallows: Part 2Third place: The final dance, from Black Swan
It's the scene you've all been waiting for: no sooner had Bella and Edward tied the knot and enjoyed their first night of passion, Kristen Stewart's poor human found herself up the duff with a vampire baby slowly killing her from the inside. You voted Breaking Dawn's intense climax over Harry Potter's denouement, with Natalie Portman's swansong from Black Swan a surprise third place finisher.
Eddie Marsan's 'Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows came in at second place and Chris Hemsworth's 'Thor' came in third place for Best Action Movie of the Year:
Winner: Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes
Second place: Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows | Third place: Thor
We could say you went bananas (or even went ape) for Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, but that'd be cheapening what turned out to be the most exciting blockbuster of the summer. Rise's scenes of man on monkey carnage beat out Robert Downey Jr's Sherlock Holmes and even the mighty Thor into the runners-up positions. There's no doubt it's the reigning chimp. (Sorry).Second place: Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows | Third place: Thor
