In an MTV interview, Director Rupert Sanders says that SWATH "isn't a popcorn movie," "It's big and it's epic and there's lots of battle sequences, but it really hits you."
Sanders also is impressed with his female actresses. He says, "Kristen is a very driven, visceral, intuitive actress". He says Charlize was "gung-ho with respect to the lengths she went to take her beauty into a dark and horrible place."
