Jones is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a MiniSeries or a Motion Picture Made for Television as well as his co-star Sienna Miller who played Tippi Hedren who was nominated in the same category for an actress.
The Girl was also nominated Best Miniseries or Television Movie.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association's 75th Golden Globe ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 13th on NBC (US) at 8pm EST.
