Deadline is reporting that SWATH's Eddie Marsan is set to star in a new BBC One/BBC America television drama series called Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.
"Based on the bestselling novel by Susanna Clarke, the seven-part series has been adapted by Wallander‘s Peter Harness. It’s an alternate history of England set during the Napoleonic Wars when reclusive Mr Norrell (Marsan) is persuaded to help the government with his magical prowess. At the same time, the charming and wealthy Strange (Carvel) learns he too is destined to be a great magician. The story centers on the relationship between the two men.."
Deadline reports that there is no scheduled airdate, however the it will be featured "as part of BBC America’s Supernatural Saturday."

Marsan will be reprising his role as the ex-boxer Terry Donovan who is battling Parkinson's disease on the successful Showtime drama series Ray Donovan which is returning for its second season.
Filming is set to begin in 2014.
