NEW CHARACTER STILL OF SAM CLAFLIN AS FINNICK - VICTORS REVEALED

Let's hope we will get a chance to see a lot of Sam Claflin in Catching Fire, the second installment of The Hunger Games, because everything we have seen so far is screech-worthy.

Sam is seen in the newly released Victors Revealed character poster. 

Sam plays the sexy and egotistical victor Finnick, who will join Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) along with other experienced killers who were victors from prior Hunger Games competitions, for the 75th Annual Hunger Games known as the Quarter Quell.  

Catching Fire opens November 22nd.

CHARLIZE THERON WEARS PRODUCER & ACTOR HATS IN 'DARK PLACES'

Charlize Theron is juggling two hats these day being the co-producer and performer as her film Dark Places is currently in production.  (See photo of Theron on set above). 

Dark Places is an adapted screenplay based on the novel by Gillian Flynn.  It is about a woman who survived and is haunted by her memories of witnessing the murder of her mother and two sisters by her brother who she testified against over 20 years prior.  A group called the Kill Club believes he was innocent and will try to prove it.  Theron plays Libby Day who is the grown-up little girl who witnessed the act.

The film also stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Nicholas Hoult and Christina Hendricks.  Deadline reported on Wednesday that Corey Stoll of the Emmy nominated House of Cards and Rescue Me's Andrea Roth were just added to the cast. 

Dark Places is scheduled to open September 1, 2014.

FORMER MTV REPORTER LARRY CARROLL REMINISCES ABOUT HIS 1ST MEETING A YOUNG KRISTEN STEWART

Former MTV news reporter Larry Carroll took to Twitter Tueday and talked to a fan about his memories of his first meeting Kristen Stewart.

Carroll, also known as the Twilight Guy, is well known to fans for his early interviews with the cast along with his unwavering support of the film Twilight.  Known to host a weekly segment of videos called Twilight Tuesdays, Carroll still shows he has fond memories of the franchise and its cast. 

Carroll tells a fan a brief story about meeting the 15-year old Stewart while she was filming 2007 The Messengers in Canada.  Check it out below.

CHRIS HEMSWORTH IN NEW 'THOR: THE DARK WORLD' STILLS, CHARACTER POSTER & FEATURETTE

Empire Online has posted new movie stills from their current issue on newsstands today of Marvel's Thor: The Dark World featuring Chris Hemsworth.   

A featurette was released with the cast (Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston) and crew talking about the next adventures of Thor after the end of The Avengers.
